In a brand new spin-off from Black Hole Cinema, Tony Black launches the 'Pick a Film' initiative. Put simply, someone picks ideally an obscure or less well known picture, which Tony and his chosen guest must watch and discuss from top to bottom, with help from Wikipedia and any other helpful articles. Emma Platt here joins Tony to discuss A TASTE OF HONEY, nominated by Tony's good friend Claire Stanley - one of the first proponents of 'kitchen sink realism', Tony and Emma discover a film which still has much resonance and relevance about British society over half a century on... Dan Taylor returns to host his first Black Hole Cinema after our summer break, alongside guests Owen Hughes of Failed Critics and Chris Haigh from the Fan Friction podcast.
