DMXS Post Show: Jordan Smith – Tickle - Wheels

Download Episode!

Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM’s Jordon Smith is coming off back-to-back wins going into the 250SX East break. He’s only six points back in the championship battle that appears to be coming down to the finale in Vegas. We’ll get his thoughts on the year and find out what the Easter Bunny brought him.

RCH/Yoshimura/Factory Suzuki’s Broc “ChewBrocca” Tickle is putting together another solid year, including a podium in Toronto. Broc is good people and we always enjoy catching up with one of the hairiest riders in the pits, or really anywhere.

Jason “Wheels” Todd is the Social Media Coordinator for Racer X and MX Sports and a good friend of DMXS. We look forward to finally catching up on the show tonight and officially announcing our love for this dude.

DMXS Radio thanks Coach Robb Beams, Troy Lee Designs, Moto Dynasty, SCOTT, Shades of Gray, Racer X, MX Sports, DUBYA Wheels, GoPro, OGIO, Concept2 Rowers for their continued support.

DMXS Post Show: Cianciarulo – Plessinger – Pingree - Beams

It is great to see a healthy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo back to doing work after a rash of untimely injuries sidelined the rising star over the last two years. We’ve covered AC’s career since he was riding a 50 and always look forward to catching up.

Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger tamed the ruts and tough conditions in Seattle to earn his first victory of the year. Aaron is undoubtedly on of the most charismatic riders in the pits and the fans appreciate seeing his personality on and off the track.

Racer X’s David Pingree has been busy with all the latest storylines and breaking news dropping in moto over the last few weeks. We’ll get his opinion and perspective on an all things “Ping” tonight.

Coach Robb Beams will stop by for some bench racing and drop some intense training/fitness knowledge on our listeners, too. We might even get to some questions from y'all if we have enough time. Make sure to check out www.CompleteRacingSolutions.com and stay plugged into all that Coach Robb has to offer.

DMXS Radio thanks Coach Robb Beams, Troy Lee Designs, Moto Dynasty, SCOTT, Shades of Gray, Racer X, MX Sports, DUBYA Wheels, GoPro, OGIO, Concept2 Rowers for their continued support.

DMXS Post Show: DeCoster – Wes Williams - Tim Cotter

Red Bull KTM’s Roger Decoster always delivers a great and honest interview and we appreciate whenever “The Man” himself can give us his thoughts and perspective on the sport he helped build. We have a lot to cover with the championship battle and the newly formed long-term strategic partnership with MX Sports and Youthstream that Roger helped broker.

We don’t often ask anything from our listeners but we’re calling in our chips tonight for Wes Williams. Our longtime friend, brother and infamous motocross videographer needs your vote in a video contest for an epic package of cutting-edge equipment. Wes has bled on the battlefield that is filming and documenting motocross for over a decade and we’ve all enjoyed his amazing work. Please take the 30 seconds and go to www.vurbmoto.com and vote to show your love and appreciation for his impressive body of work. You can vote once every day, and the link is set up where you literally have one damn button to click. Please vote and help spread the word on all your social media accounts, too. Thank you.

Kevin Windham – Zach Osborne – Robb Beams

It’s hard to quit Kevin Windham. There are some riders in our sport that transcend their record and time on the bike and KDub is certainly included in that elite club. Somehow four years have passed since his sudden retirement and I still wait for the spotlight to hit him in opening ceremonies for another epic transfer for the fans. Kevin is still heavily involved in the sport and his track Farm 14 is set to host an Area Qualifier for the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross

Championship in a few short weeks. We’ll get his thoughts on wearing a promoter’s hat and get his perspective on all of the supercross racing, too! There are certain milestone wins that can bring the collective fan base together no matter who your favorite rider is or who you were pulling for before the gate dropped. We had that two weeks ago with Marvin Musquin, and again in Atlanta when Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Zach Osborne won his first career supercross race. We’ve been on the long ride with Zach since his mini bike days and just had to get him on for this career moment in our hometown.

Coach Robb Beams has been part of the DMXS family for a long time and our listeners really appreciate his informative segments on the show. Robb is will be hosting a training and nutrition seminar at the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at the Daytona International Speedway next week so we have a lot to cover with our good friend tonight.

DMXS Radio thanks Coach Robb Beams, Troy Lee Designs, Moto Dynasty, SCOTT, Shades of Gray, Racer X, MX Sports, DUBYA Wheels, GoPro, OGIO, Concept2 Rowers and Stellar MX Graphics for their continued support.

Ricky Carmichal - Jeremy McGrath - Daniel Blair announce arenacross

We got some much need help for announcing the Atlanta Arenacross during Motofest from some legends in our sport.

Atlanta Arenacross Live Preshow with McGrath – Hahn – Weege

The entire DMXS crew invaded the Georgia Dome this weekend with the proper sendoff to our beloved Georgia Dome with MotoFest. We were honored to be able to announce the AX race live to kick the racing off in style along with a fun pre-race show with Jeremy McGrath, Wil Hahn and Jason Weigandt for your listing pleasure. We will also be posting the race archive where Ricky Carmichael and Daniel Blair stopped in to help call the live racing action.

A special thank you to the Georgia Dome for the many years of epic supercross action. You were cut down far too soon. We will pour out some race gas and premix in your honor. RIP…..

Marvin Musquin – Cooper Webb - Wes Williams

Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin was able to secure his first 450 win last weekend in Arlington with a dominating performance right from the drop of the gate. It’s always cool to see a rider experience these career milestones and Marvin’s emotional celebration told us how much this win really meant. We always love catching up with the loveable Frenchman and will get his thoughts on the win and season. Monster Energy/Yamalube/Chaparral/Yamaha Financial Services/Yamaha Factory Racing Team's Cooper Webb came into the season with a lot of pressure as the point of the spear to the Factory Yamaha effort as a rookie. We all knew he’d get better as the season progresses and have seen the results over the last two weeks. It’s always a pleasure hearing from Coop and our listeners did his candid and honest interviews. Wes Williams is part of our soul and family around here and we’ve known him since he was lugging camera equipment to all the tracks in the southeast in his early teens as an aspiring film maker. He’s definitely put his mark and style on the sport over the years and we’ll hear about some of his latest projects, including his work on the epic Roczen Terrafirma94 project. DMXS Radio thanks Coach Robb Beams, Troy Lee Designs, Moto Dynasty, SCOTT, Shades of Gray, Racer X, MX Sports, DUBYA Wheels, GoPro, OGIO, Concept2 Rowers and Stellar MX Graphics for their continued support. Cole Seely - Justin Hill - Grant Langston

Team Honda HRC’s Cole Seely landed on the podium for the first time last weekend after a solid ride on a technical track that deteriorated throughout the night due to the weeklong rains that lasted up until race day. It’s an entirely new championship picture with the point’s leader out for the season and we’ll get Cole’s thoughts on the race that new reality. The 250SX West battle is shaping up nicely with the top three riders within seven points after Anaheim II. Monster Energy Pro Circuit’s Justin Hill has bounced back nicely after a disappointing opening round and made his claim in the title hunt with a convincing win last weekend. A lot has changed since we last had Justin on and look forward to catching up tonight. We’re used to hearing Grant Langston as the color analyst beside Jason Weigandt calling the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, but the Zulu Warrior has plenty to say on the supercross season, too. We always appreciate his candid perspective on things and have a lot to cover tonight. I was also able to preview his new DVD, Grant Langston, Motocross Training with the Champ that just recently dropped. This DVD from the former champion is packed with insightful tips and knowledge that can help riders of any skill level. Check out www.grantlangstonmx.com for more information or to order your copy. Ricky Carmichael – Austin Forkner – Jason Weigandt

RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Ricky Carmichael is undoubtedly busier now than when he was actually racing for championships. His involvement at every level speaks volumes to the commitment RC has to the success of our sport and we’ll get to the upcoming busy schedule beginning with the Monster Energy Motofest going down right here in Atlanta. We also have some serious bench racing to do with all kinds of stuff going down in Arizona to discuss, too. Check out www.RickyCarmichael.com for information on the upcoming RCU, camps and RCASX in Daytona. Monster Energy Pro Circuit’s Austin Forkner came into the SX season with an impressive and strong finish to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship last summer. Obviously, supercross is a different animal and has traditionally not been kind or forgiving to rookies, but Austin has improved each round and finally landed on the podium last weekend in Glendale. We’ll get his thoughts on the season and when the best time is to plant and harvest crops. Racer X’s Jason Weigandt will be making an appearance on the show per the rules of his binding eternal contract. DMXS Radio thanks Coach Robb Beams, Troy Lee Designs, Moto Dynasty, SCOTT, Shades of Gray, Racer X, MX Sports, DUBYA Wheels, GoPro, OGIO, Concept2 Rowers, vurbmoto, Skull Candy, and Stellar MX Graphics for their continued support. Davi Millsaps - Weston Peick - Brett Smith

Download Episode!

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM’s Davi Millsaps came in a bit under the radar this year with other storylines dominating the preseason talk, but his solid start to the season has once again changed all of that. We’ve covered his career since amateurs and always enjoy catching up with our former southern neighbor.

The AutoTrader.com/ Monster Energy/JGR Suzuki team would prefer to hit the reset button on 2017 after injuries have already claimed their top 450 riders before the series hits February. Weston was looking great on the new bike before an unfortunate practice crash at Glendale resulted in a dislocated wrist and lacerated kidney. We’ll get the latest from the Viking tonight on his recovery and timetable for return.

Brett Smith is a celebrated journalist in motocross and we appreciate his objective opinions and perspective on racing and the stories that surround it.

David Pingree - Andy Bowyer - Jimmy Decotis

Download Episode!

You could almost hear the collective cheer from the northeast when GEICO Honda’s Jimmy Decotis grabbed the holeshot and lead for over half the race last weekend in San Diego. Our listeners are always pumped to hear from Jimmy and we look forward to catching up tonight. It’s Racer X’s David Pingree’s world and we all just live in it. I can’t wait to hear his take and perspective on the season thus far. Check your politically-correct coat and feelers at the door. Fans around the world tune in every Saturday to the Monster Energy Supercross Race Day Live show for live practice, qualifying and insider interviews you won’t see anywhere else. It has been a game-changer for our sport and ushered in a new ritual for fans like us that just can’t get enough on race day. Andy Bowyer is one half of the dynamic duo that brings us the action every Saturday and will join us for some solid bench racing and more with tonight.
