Conor Clancy returned to the host's seat this week as the Forza Italian Football Podcast returned. Host Conor Clancy returned this week to bring you the latest from the world of calcio in the most recent Forza Italian Football Podcast . Riccardo Montolivo: Captain, Coach, Leader, Legend  

Connall Shaw takes back his seat at the helm of the Forza Italian Football Podcast this week, kept warm by our Editor-in-Chief Conor Clancy over the past two weeks. For a second consecutive week, our Editor-in-Chief Conor Clancy assumed responsibility as host in the latest Forza Italian Football Podcast. Joined by Luca Gunby and Nicholas Carroll, the guys discussed all things Calcio, starting with the evergreen King of Rome, Francesco Totti. After waxing lyrical about the recently turned 40-year-old, Torino came in for some praise, before Nic got the chance to express his frustration with Geoffrey Kondogbia, in solidarity with Frank De Boer. The guys took a look at the lesser covered bottom half of the table, and made their predictions for who would be fighting relegation come May. In the absence of usual host Connall Shaw this week, our Editor-in-Chief stepped into his seat to bring you the guys' latest musing on Italian Football. After a couple of weeks of absence, Nicholas Carroll, Liam Stewart, and Luca Gunby return to discuss the latest events, in a slightly different format due to the midweek round of fixtures. The Derby d'Italia, of course, was discussed, as was Inter's reliance on their captain Mauro Icardi. Liam got annoyed by Roma's abject defenders, while the team also put forward some young names to watch this season before sending some praise in the direction of Marco Borriello, who has been on form for Cagliari since his summer move. Hart to Hart  

Host Connall Shaw is joined by Nicholas Carroll for a second week running alongside Vieri Capretta, who makes his return to the show on the back of Fiorentina’s 90th anniversary. The Viola celebrated their birthday in fine style on Sunday evening as they defeated Chievo 1-0 thanks to new-boy Carlos Sanchez, a player whom Vieri highlights as one of the team’s biggest surprises so far. Meanwhile, Connall and Nic both focus on AC Milan’s defensive woes, after they were thumped 4-2 Napoli, the Rossoneri were downed by two goals early on from Arkadiusz Milik before producing a comical second half performance. England international Joe Hart’s much-debated transfer to Torino is also debated in great depth by the guys, who revel in the opportunity to see the on-loan Manchester City goalkeeper lead the Granata’s shaky back line. Higuain Heroics and a Donna-rumma to die for  

With the 2016-17 Serie A season getting back underway, the guys returned once more to discuss the latest action on the peninsula. Host Connall Shaw was joined this week by Liam Stewart and the returning Nicholas Carroll. Juventus and Fiorentina was discussed, as were Gonzalo Higuain's debut heroics, before Connall and the guys spoke about Vincenzo Montella's low expectations at AC Milan, while Inter, Roma and Napoli were also looked at.
