Mother Knows Best:(23:19)

This week we answer a question from the "What do you want to hear about?" thread about the Metric Revolution

When Knitting Attacks:(23:19)

Gigi was working on the Beastkeeper shawl. Someone leaned on it and about 20 stitches came off the needle, so she picked the stitches up again. she noticed that she had done pass in front instead of pass yarn in back. And had to fix that, too.

Jasmin was working on a short dpn, and she lost a few stitches on Genevieve's Hearthstone pullover.

Also, her spinning got tangled on the dogs, and Jasmin reminisces about the time the dogs were puppies and made off with a ball of Tess microfiber ribbon.

Review:(34:47)

This week we review Spinning and Dyeing Yarn

Jasmin mentions Shannon Okey's KnitGirrrl Guide to Professional Knitwear Design

She emptied 5 bobbins of last year's TdF onto white storage bobbins.

Jasmin is spinning with the kids. This project, Hiro sweaters for the family, is going to take FOREVER. She is spinning on her Acadia wheel.

Those of you familiar with Akerworks™ products may already know Akerworks™ bobbins were designed by an engineer and an architect to make spinning enjoyable and relaxing. You also may know that you can choose among twenty colors and six styles for the 3D-printed whorls—or that the bobbins break down for easy travel and storage. But… did you know that Akerworks™ bobbins hold more fiber, for most styles, than the related manufacturer’s bobbin? Akerworks™: We like making things.
