An intriguing and ground breaking development is occurring in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. You might even go so far as to call it a Portuguese revolution. Step forward Alberto De Barros, co owner of Ballymena and Provincial league side Sofia Farmer FC - a visionary whose aim to take the club to the Europa League is extremely attainable, given the resources and talent at the club's disposal. Listen in as Alberto tells us how the club was formed, the key to it's recent change in fortunes and his hopes and aspirations for both the club and its players. Liverpool Legends - European Cup Winners Tour: Luton  

Shoot the Defence were proud to be at the Liverpool Legends event at Luton's Crescent Hall, as part of the European Cup Winners Tour. Our very own @cheekyric mingled with the legends Phil Neal, Jimmy Case and Terry McDermott as well as other guests and brings us some of the stories that were told to a packed audience. Singer/songwriter Marc Kenny (@marckenny) kept everyone entertained with Liverpool songs and comedian Mike Maguire (@ComedyVoices) had them laughing in the isles. The @VoiceofAnfield was the master of ceremonies. The event was in aid of www.keech.org.uk. Keech Hospice Care supports adults in Luton and South Bedfordshire and children and their families living in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.
