After a long voyage across Théah in search of an ancient map, the crew of the Fantoma Reine have finally collected and assembled the pieces and placed them in their receptacle in the ancient Canguin lighthouse.  The artifact directed them to sail far, far away in a direction that would lead them into heretofore unknown waters.  As the crew makes preparations for their most dangerous journey yet, they also write letters and make any final decisions should this voyage be their last. Rogue Trader – Collective Threat Episode 3  

At the request of Robert, the crew prepares to enter the warp to travel to the Rifts of Hecaton. The travel will be not without its usual perils, but the crew has some time to relax on their way. When they reach their destination, they meet a strange woman claiming to be part of The Schismaticus Collective, a secessionist group who wants their own corner of the galaxy. 7th Sea – The Ballad of The Fantoma Reine Episode 22  

The crew of the Fantoma Reine has seen a lot in their journeys, and finally they have a moment to rest and recover from the perils of a few months on the high seas.  Declan’s family has been relocated to the empty manor house in Canguin, the Fey have thoroughly dissected Captain Valentin and uncovered a source for his Black Strands: his heart is freezing as a result of his hatred.  Before he can take time to resolve that, however, the crew receives word of an auction in Vendel for a particular Syrneth artifact that seems to be part of a larger one.  With 3 parts of the Map in hand, the crew heads out to try and pick up the last one. Getting a planet back has turned out to be much more difficult than Faydra Ramirez expected.  In their search of a distant planet, the captain and crew of the Brilliant Resolve are finding themselves deep in ruins surrounded by odd mechanical beetles.  They appear to be odd carrion feeders of both flesh and cybernetics.  Mysteries of the ancient ruins deepen. After a harrowing battle with Kheired-Din and , the crew of the Fantoma Reine has to take time taking aboard the survivors of the Strange Skies and slaves who kept it moving.  Among the captured are highly valued members of the Corsairs, which Captain Valentin realizes can be used as bargaining chips in negotiating for others captured by vicious pirate group. Additionally, Declan makes arrangements for his family to be relocated to a much more secure location after the last few adventures have made it quite apparent that his time on this ship have accrued him a large number of enemies. MaOCT – Playhouse (Part 1)  

A group of perfectly normal kids is on a trip to the local theater to see a showing of their newest production.  They discover the performance to be highly engrossing and immersive.  The show comes to life and leaps off the stage, leaving them free to walk on and into it. Rogue Trader – Collective Threat Episode 1  

In the year 40,000, all is war.  The Koronus Expanse is under attack from all angles by beings that want to destroy all organic matter from the system out of a need for sustenance or merely from spite.  Under such assault, the Imperium of Man cannot adequately meet all threats and thus contracts work out to Rogue Traders.  In the inside edge of the Expanse, we find one such trader, Faydra Ramirez, standing trial for the crime of Imperial Heresy. After a swift motion to an acquittal of Imperial Heresy but a conviction for smaller heretical acts, Ramirez finds herself one planet poorer, at great loss to the family fortune.  A silver lining appears to Faydra and the crew of the castle-like Brilliant Resolve, when the new owner of the planet contacts her and says she may have it back if she does him one small favor. . . The crew of the Fantoma Reine is finally reunited with their precious ship, and Jeremiah Berek, the self-proclaimed pirate king, who has come to them asking for a temporary formal alliance against a greater threat.  Corsair captain Kheired-Din has dealt his ship a heavy blow and has been eliminating other pirates to establish himself as the one true pirate king.  This comes as a shock to the entire crew of the Fantoma Reine, who had last seen him trapped in the palace of the Sun King as the fuse was burning down on a few hundred pounds of gun powder.  Perhaps with less chaos and more firepower, the Fantoma Reine and the Black Dog can put him down for good. As it turns out, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.  The magistrate’s investigation into Battle’s Respite has uncovered some dark sinister blood magic that has brought back the village samurai as a terrible tainted puppet controlled by blood magic.  The village must be purified.  Or maybe Kituski should just use his sword. Our apologies for this week’s episode as recording was not started until halfway through the game. PLAYERS Josh: Shosuro Shizuko, an upstanding Scorpion Bushi who is in no way a ninja or ninja-like entity. Honest. Distrusted even by other Scorpion due to the disloyalty of an ancestor, She makes masks as a hobby when she’s not skulking through the shadows. James: Kitsuki Noboyuki, a Dragon magistrate who is a student of the Kitsuki Method, which claims that weird stuff like evidence collection and observation should be used to determine the guilt of a suspected criminal, rather than just believing the word of the highest-ranking samurai present. A prodigy at investigation and a skilled orator besides, he’s physically and spiritually weakened by an old wound. Kevin: Isawa Daiki is an Ishi-ken of the Phoenix clan, one of the rare shugenja that can access the powers of the Void between all things alongside the elements and spirits. After a long fight with Ussuran nobility Captain Valentin le Evariste has discovered the potential solution to the mysterious black strand that threatens his life.  He has, however, also discovered that to actually take and use it would bring about consequences that he could not live with.   A choice awaits him, just as a mysterious Avalonian man awaits Declan in the local tavern.  Fights on all fronts and no rest for the crew of the Fantoma Reine. Red Markets – 2 Dead 2 Furious (Part 2)  

Aftr clearing the road and facing hard resistance from a group of motorized raiders known as the Dead Riders, the Rum Runners continue to make their way towards the job site and blaze a trail for Schumacher’s crew to roll in and get their precious Nitrous.  As can be expected, however, a warehouse full of volatile gases is considerably less stable than it was 5 years ago, and the roving drones in the area do not bode well. Axe – Harpy. Former Hollywood talent agent who was enslaved when society broke down but was able to escape and make good use of her talents as a negotiator. Josh – Pliskin. Soldier deployed during The Crash to fight the casualties and try to restore order in the west, she decided to leave her squad rather than join the Rebellion against the Recession Government.

After a harrowing crawl through ancient Syrneth ruins punctuated by modern Montaigne sewer systems and various interactions with gems that may or may not steal souls, the crew of the Fantoma Reine now finds themselves face to face with personal Fate Witches of L’Emperor and their only way out of this nightmare to head through his palace, where discovery can lead to beheading.  Furthermore, the witches seem to understand the problematic Black Strands bound to the captain’s heart, but will not reveal their secrets until they are free from the palace. The crew of the Fanoma Reine has, for now at least, evaded the Inquisition forces.  It was not without considerable loss:  The crew is bearing a great many injuries from the fight in the palace and the subsequent fight and chase with the inquisition death squad, which left a few members subject to a hailstorm of gunfire. Tired and bedraggled, the crew stumbled into the underground city of Petit Charouse, founded by a disgraced invisible college member, populated by the untouchables, and led by an explorer with a nasty-looking gauntlet. Dark Heresy Episode 7 – Awakening Darkness (Part 1)  

The Inquisitors have been held in a month-long quarantine after their last mission led them into a Chaos Ritual.  Upon their emergence and rigorous interrogation, they have been informed that their new assignment is on Assuar to investigate the death of a fellow inquisitor.   Their only lead, a video sent from the inquisitor as he died asking “Do they know what will happen when he gets out?”
