Glenn Jacobs PKA WWE's KANE  

First time guest Glenn Jacobs, also known as KANE in the WWE, joins JR this week to discuss his political aspirations as a mayoral candidate in Knox County, Tennessee. Glenn shares what led him into politics, the status of his in-ring career, the worldly perspective he's received from working with the WWE, what might be next for The Undertaker, thoughts on Braun Strowman and rumors of him and Brock Lesnar in an arm-wrestling match. Former WCW and WWE announcer Tony Schiavone joins JR this week to look back on fond memories of working together in the NWA/WCW, including the first Clash of the Champions, Great American Bash 1988 and countless TV tapings. JR is in Orlando, on-site at the WWE Performance Center and he's joined by TWO incredible WWE Hall of Famers - Lita AND Madusa. The ladies sit down with JR on the podcast this week to look ahead to the first-ever WWE Mae Young Classic and its impressive crop of competitors, breaking down the stories behind some of the finest women wrestlers in the world. The incomparable James E. Cornette returns to the Ross Report this week as JR and Jim catch up on some old-school memories involving Bill Dundee, Jerry Lawler and Jerry Lee Lewis as well as discuss a few current pro wrestling items. Jim has got a lot to say about The Revival, Joe vs Lesnar, his return to the WWE at this year's Hall of Fame and the upcoming New Japan event in Long Beach. John Pollock from the Fight Network and Live Audio Wrestling joins JR this week to discuss all of the news coming out of WWE's Extreme Rules including Samoa Joe's win in the Fatal 5-Way and his forthcoming match with Brock Lesnar; whether or not the concept of the Extreme Rules event needs to be revised; how the Miz has elevated his game since pairing with his wife Maryse on WWE television; the confusion over the rules of the tag team cage match; and the surprising yet positive effect of Alexa Bliss varying her moveset in her women's title match against Bayley. At over 60 years of age, Paul jumped at the chance to bring his old-school mentality to one of the hottest pairs of talents in the business today. Paul shares epic stories about managing the legendary Road Warriors throughout the 80s as well as memories of working in Mid-South with Cowboy Bill Watts and JR! Plus, Paul discusses breaking into the AWA and their grueling camps, his daughter Rachael and her recent entry into the business, the Junkyard Dog, The Last Battle of Atlanta and what happened to Rocco!

Roddy Strong returns to The Ross Report, and this time not only as a member of NXT (and a future WWE main roster member), but also as a new dad! We'll hear how Roddy's enjoying fatherhood, and whether his fiancée MMA fighter Marina Shafir has plans to return to the octagon in the near future. Roddy also talks about the day-to-day at the NXT Performance Center, learning from the great Shawn Michaels, and who's on his Mt. Rushmore of Pro Wrestling. Plus, he's weighs in on Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, and taking apron bumps!

Patrick LaPrade & "Sisterhood Of The Squared Circle"  

Author Patrick LaPrade wrote "Sisterhood Of The Squared Circle: The History & Rise Of Women's Wrestling," and is sharing some of the stories he chronicled in his book about trailblazers like Mildred Burke (and her promoter husband Billy Wolfe), The Fabulous Moolah, and Mae Young. Hear about the politics, real-life grudges, scandals and beatings they endured and overcame to make women's wrestling popular and dominant in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Patrick also discusses the women's division today, Ronda Rousey, and Shimmer's effect on it all.

Ted DiBiase & WWE Payback Review with Jason Powell  

The Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase, has Andre the Giant stories, Ric Flair stories, and Dick Murdoch stories. He learned a heck of a lot about the squared circle from the Funks and Harley Race, and believes Paul Heyman owes the Funks a debt for the success of ECW. Ted also explains why he left WWE (twice), what he makes a great heel, the problem with high-flying, and why Cowboy Bill Watts is on his Mt. Rushmore of Pro Wrestling. Plus, Jason Powell of joins to break down the WWE Payback event.

Rey Mysterio  

Rey Mysterio learned plenty of great lessons about the biz from the likes of Eddie Guerrero and Scott Hall, and is now trying to pass some of that knowledge along to his son, Dominic, who's training to be a pro-wrestler himself. Rey's got details on their training regime, thoughts on the Cruiserweight division in general, what scares him about today's young wrestlers and product. Hes talking about Roman Reigns, Kurt Angle, Konnan, and the Mexican wrestler who most influenced his career, Super Astro.

Shawn Daivari And Ken Anderson  

It's a double-shot on The Ross Report with Shawn Daivari and Ken Anderson, co-founders and owners of the new pro-wrestling school, The Academy, in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. In addition to talking about the tools & training their school offers pro-wrestling hopefuls, the two are also speaking about their controversial careers at WWE. They both also spent time at Impact Wrestling and have thoughts about whether that promotion can truly right the ship! So give a listen to hear stories about Muhammad Hassan, Austin Aries, Hulk Hogan, Donald Trump, Chris Benoit, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Ken's departure from WWE.


Debrah Miceli, you know her better as WWE Hall of Famer Madusa, has a podcast of her own, "Madusa's Full Throttle," and lots of strong opinions on the current women's division. She's also talking about her personal experience at WWE, including her departure, and her Monday Nitro debut when she famously threw the WWE title belt in the garbage! She has some words of encouragement for Paige, a last dream match, and a huge thank you for Paul Heyman.

Wrestlemania 33 with Dave Meltzer  

If you were surprised to see and hear JR calling The Undertakers final match at Wrestlemania 33, you weren't the only one! JR was surprised too, and tells the story of how that momentous moment came to be! He and Dave Meltzer also break down the matches, performances, and surprises, dole out MVPs, and predict what the future may hold for some of the WWE's biggest stars. They also discuss the future of Impact Wrestling, whether ROH is indeed for sale, and the effect of the global indie scene (UK, India, China) on the pro-wrestling biz in general.
