On the Tuesday January 17 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Philip Rossman-Reich of for some NBA discussion that focused on statistics and other things that will help listeners in the betting market. This was a really good segment for those that are looking for an introduction into the NBA stats that matter the most when evaluating teams. The guys talked about the Golden State Warriors hammering the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night and that led into a discussion about schedule losses, situational spots, and about the mindsets of NBA players. There was a lot of great information for listeners on this segment and a lot of things that can be used to bang the books in the Association.

On the Tuesday January 17 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Bryan Leonard of for this week’s Sports Wagering Talk segment. The focal point of this week’s segment was to talk about this weekend’s two NFL playoff games. The Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons meet in the NFC Championship Game and the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots meet in the AFC Championship Game. The winners will meet in Super Bowl LI. Bryan gave his NFL betting thoughts on both games, including an analysis of where the lines may be going and how the teams match up. BangTheBook Sports Betting Talk Radio Podcast January 17

The "Tuesday Meeting" is back again this week on BangTheBook Radio, but host Adam Burke will only welcome one outstanding professional handicapper to the broadcast. During this week's Sports Wagering Talk with Bryan Leonard segment, the guys will discuss the setting of lines and why the process seems to be as complex as it is. Also, they'll look at the Conference Championship games between the Steelers and Patriots and the Packers and Falcons. Unfortunately, Sports Cheetah is sick, but we'll still cover the NBA here on today's show with Philip Rossman-Reich of Orlando Magic Daily. We'll chat with Philip about what stats to look at and consider for handicapping purposes and also try to uncover some hidden matchup advantages that we can exploit when the schedule allows us to do exactly that.

Ep 62: Your TBR will never be the same ...

Hello readers, it's a very special Tuesday! We have officially reached What Should I Read Next's Anniversary episode. It's been a full year since Episode 1!

The first episode of What Should I Read Next aired on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Our guest was Jamie Golden. Her favorites were Persuasion, Me Before You, and 11/22/63. She hated Go Set a Watchman, and *Anne* recommended The Man in the High Castle, A Man Called Ove, and Bel Canto. For the record, she enjoyed them all.

We have 61 (!!) episodes behind us now. We’ve talked all things books and reading in every one—what we love, and what we hate. In 52 of those episodes guests have told Anne 3 books they love, 1 book they hate, and what they’re reading now, and she's recommended what they should read next. Anne gets great recommendations from this podcast—from the guests and from YOU, the listeners—every week. But as the host of this show, she's never sat in the hot seat herself. Until today.

For our anniversary, we’re doing this special episode of What Should Anne Should Read Next, so you can hear her talk a little more at length about what I love, and maybe what she hates, and why, and so we can share YOUR recommendations for my very own TBR.

It's a fun one!
