Brody Stevens & Bonnie McFarlane

Comics Steve Pearl, Rich Vos, Mr. Methane and Howie Klein. Steve Pearl is considered one of the funniest comics in the world by everyone who understands the art of comedy. It's another star studded episode, and yes we have THAT Mr. Methane, the one Janeane Garofalo had to follow at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. So much goodness, where to begin? Let's start with Comic Brody Stevens who talks about the intersection between baseball and standup. Brody was a pitcher for ASU and has combined his love for the game with his love for comedy and it's all about positive energy. Comic Bonnie McFarlane is an hysterical comic whose new book is You're Better Than Me. She's also a documentarian who hosts My Wife Hates Me the podcast with her husband "Comic" Rich Vos. Rich Vos jumps on the line because dinner isn't ready. Then Comic Steve Pearl joins us from San Francisco. Steve is considered one of the funniest comedians ever, especially among comedy snobs in the Bay Area as well at the Comedy Store. Mr. Methane is the world's leading anal vocalists, he joins us from Great Britain to discuss his instrument. And then Howie Klein, the founder and treasurer of the Blue America Pac talks Trump, Georgia and food.   Bonnie McFarlane has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. She appeared as a panelist on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld and as one of Dr. Katz's patients on Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist. In 2004, she appeared on season two of the NBC reality show Last Comic Standing. She was the first comedian eliminated.[2] In 2005, she had her own HBO One Night Stand special. In 2008, she had her own Comedy Central Presents half-hour special. She is also one of the hosts of the Nickelodeon show NickMom Night Out.[3] McFarlane made occasional appearances on the Opie and Anthony radio program and now on the Opie and Jim Norton show. McFarlane wrote and directed the film, Women Aren't Funny, which was previewed at Caroline's on Broadway in November 2012. The film was released in August 2014. In 2016, McFarlane released "You're Better Than Me" a memoir published by Anthony Bourdain which recounts McFarlane's upbringing and comedic career.   Brody Stevens has appeared on the television shows Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Friday, Premium Blend, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, The Test with Jillian Barberie, Late World with Zach, The Best Damn Sports Show Period, Attack of the Show!, Childrens Hospital, Tosh.0, TMZ on TV, Fox NFL Sunday, Conan, Comedy Bang! Bang!, The Burn with Jeff Ross, Kroll Show, The Ben Show and @midnight. He is also a regular panelist on Chelsea Lately. On February 27, 2013, Stevens taped a live comedy set at The Royale Theater in Boston for the second season of Comedy Central's The Half Hour. While in Boston, he also recorded a series of interviews with the other 16 comedians appearing on The Half Hour called Push & Believe. It was released on Comedy Central's YouTube channel. In 2011, Stevens starred in and produced a documentary comedy series for HBO called Brody Stevens: Enjoy It!. Zach Galifianakis was an executive producer on the project. It was released in 2012 as six 15-minute episodes on HBO's digital platform HBO GO and received positive reviews. Following the popularity of his HBO program it was picked up by Comedy Central as Brody Stevens: Enjoy It!. The footage shot by HBO, along with additional material shot by Comedy Central was released in 2013 as twelve 21-minute episodes. Stevens is also an experienced audience warm-up and has done warm-up on The Best Damn Sports Show Period, Late World with Zach, The Man Show, Chelsea Lately, The Burn with Jeff Ross, The Jeselnik Offensive, Rob Dyrdek's Ridiculousness, Who Gets the Last Laugh?, @midnight and Why? with Hannibal Buress. Stevens has also appeared in the films Road to Park City, I Am Comic, Jesus Is Magic, The Hangover, Due Date and The Hangover Part II. He was however, cut out of the movie Funny People. Mr. Methane is a Performing Flatulist, or Petomane, he performs the Art of Controlled Anal Voicing employing the same technique as 19th Century French man Joseph Pujol aka Le Petomane. He has performed his Fart Artistry at the world’s top comedy festivals in Montreal, Melbourne and Edinburgh as well as many public and private shows for exclusive clients.   Tell us what you think in the comment section below. United We Stand

In this episode Ashna and I talk about the fan letters we have received from around the world recently, the improv class we have been taking at the Groundlings, the benefit that I put on for the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting victims which included my friends Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress and Anthony Jeselnik. The benefit also took place because Dave Chappelle encouraged me to do it.

We also talk about the murders of five police officers in Dallas this week and the state of crisis currently griping the United States at the moment. To end this episode I have included the recording I made last year as I drove along with my cousin Officer Ron Ryan as he patrolled the streets of Boynton Beach, Florida. If there was ever a good cop to remind you that not all cops are bad and that most of them are committed to doing good for the community it is my cousin Ron. United We Stand Indeed People!
