  • In my Successful Ad Manager program this week, we were celebrating one of our ad managers getting her first client! 👏👏👏 She’s pretty nervous, however she’s going through the program and getting the support in our “SAM” community, but also the correct expectations are set between her and her new client.

This isn’t always the case. Unfortunately, many eager ad managers are told to go out and start charging premium prices. Had she done that with this type of client, then it could be a recipe for disaster.

On this week’s episode of Online Confidential, I share a word of warning about what clients you should not work with if you are a new ad manager. Experienced ad managers need to watch out for these ones too!

  • There is no arguing that video is an essential part of our social media marketing strategy. Whether it's Instagram, Facebook, Tik TOK or Youtube. There are 3 key metrics to help us monitor the performance of our ads:

Hook Rate Hold Rate Half Time Rate

This week’s episode of Online Confidential I break down these metrics, and why they matter.

  • A great question came in from one of our Elite Ad Manager students and it’s a question many new and experienced ad managers grapple with

“When you got started, did you post on your personal profile for your friends and family to see that you’re running Facebook ads?”

I unpack a mindset shift to give you momentum and a simple ‘sales pitch free’approach to go from feeling ‘icky’ to empowered like a BOSS when you post about your business on your personal Facebook profile and what to do when the queries start dropping into your DMs.
