When you speak with Emily Pappas, you don’t just hear the passion in her voice, you feel it too. She is the owner and founder of Relentless Athletics and it is a unique niche. Relentless is an all-female training facility that specializes in Olympic lifting for their athletes. This was a really fascinating talk and we learned a ton from Emily about working with female athletes. This is not a good listen; this is a great listen.

After having Brad Dixon on we wanted to strap on the pads and go play for him. Talk about a coach that has his players' best interest at heart. The way Brad approaches coaching it is no wonder he has been so successful on and off the field. This is a great listen about a guy who coaches a little differently than most coaches and really tries to understand how to help and get the most out of his players. Thanks for being a part of the podcast Brad!

Scott Phillips may be the first reporter on our podcast, but he spoke like a true sports performance coach when it came to breaking down how basketball players move. Scott covers HS, College, and NBA basketball for NBC Sports and thanks to an old high school connection, we were lucky enough to have him on. If basketball is your jam, then this is for you.

Back in October, we hosted the Beyond Strength Clinic with The Good Athlete Project. One of the highlights was having longtime client and all around great guy Charles "Peanut" Tillman on to discuss his life, his NFL career, and the Cornerstone Foundation. Not only is he a future hall of famer and arguably one of the greatest corners to play the game, but he has used his great career for a greater cause. This podcast is a must listen.

On Episode 26 we were joined by Will Rawlings, the owner of Superior Athletic Advantage in Barrington, IL. As we start to get our Barbell Club off the ground it was an absolute pleasure to talk to one of the best in the business. Sometimes podcasts just happen on the spot. Tony Dieppa of PLAE stopped by the facility and the next thing you know, we are doing a podcast. This is one of those podcasts where you just enjoy the journey. Tony has been and done just about everything when it comes to strength and conditioning. Here's to hoping we can get Tony back on for a longer episode in the future.

"Enjoy the journey. Don't get caught thinking about the next job." Having Coach Sean Skahan on this week's podcast was a real treat.
