Back by popular demand and request, we visit once again with Dr. Leon Adelman with more information and an update on the consideration of unionization in emergency medicine. We chat about some of the movements since our last discussion and hit on some of the nuance that is much more complicated than a simple "go, no-go" decision.

We release this one a little early because Christmas is on our typical release day, so enjoy the last release of 2023!!! We thank all of you for the support and interest. This year, we wrapped with over 600k downloads of The Frontline.
In this episode, we dig into one of the hottest topics of 2023 with physician desires to regain control in the complex world of medicine. We talk about the consideration of unionization. We talk with Dr. Anna Yap about her efforts(with others) to unionize the residency programs at her institution and then dive in with Dr. Leon Adelman about the business of unions...who can fo it, who cannot, and some of the risk/benefit considerations. This is a long one for us, just over an hour, but one that we could have gone much longer with this important topic. -
In this episode, we turn to one of the business experts of EM, Dr. Leon Adelman as we dive into the recent bankruptcies of APP and Envision as well as recent changes within Sound. Here is an episode we recorded at ACEP22. I forgot to post it, so it's still new content, just recorded in fall of 2022. Still great info with returning guest and ID go-to, Dr. David Pigott. He has been an ongoing resource through pandemics, epidemics, and bugs we pass around.
