so often, we set goals for ourselves in regards to all aspects of life. when we set these goals, most of us typically look forward to the outcome vs. focusing on falling in love with and enjoying the process. when the focus is on the results, we typically quit because we don't get the results as quickly as we thought we would had. most of us know that good, sustainable results take time. that's why it's important to a) discovery your "why", b) make it easy + obvious, c) get a little bit better everyday, and 4) focus on completion, not perfection so you can yield the benefits of... consistency. when you master consistency, there is nothing you canāt do.

healing from past trauma is a necessary part of the human experience. however, obsessing over your healing journey can be detrimental to your well-being and sort of have a reverse affect. it is the small but effective daily rituals that will enhance your experience here on this earth. healing simply put is living, learning, experiencing and growing. it doesn't have to look a certain way and definitely is not a one-size-fit-all solution. your healing journey should be individualized to YOU. if you like to read, do that. if you like going on walks, do that. do WHATEVER calms your nervous system. remember not to take life too seriously. laugh at yourself. have fun with it. and last but absolutely not leastā remember this healing journey that we're all on is a marathon. so happy to be having this conversation. definitely one of our favorite episodes so far. <3

money + spirituality. whew. a topic not spoken about enough but so necessary. can't lie. it was even a bit uncomfortable for us but we got through it. our thoughts and ideas surrounding money begin to form around early child (unconsciously). as we grow older, we'll realize that these ideas begin to manifest into everyday habits. just like everything else, we must unlearn these negative concepts regarding money by first acknowledging your current ideas and feelings about it. you'll soon realize that money is neutral and takes on whatever energy you give it. you are money. the more you explore yourself and uncover the truest version of you, the closer you are to abundance in all areas of lifeā financial, health, joy, peace, etc.

self-awareness: to be aware of selfā your thoughts, values, emotions; so forth and so on. it is an important attribute to cultivate because it allows you to find purpose, develop authenticity, and gain a greater sense of well-beingā not only for your own peace of mind but also for others. as we are born into society, we are immediately bombarded with distractions. this could be our parents, the media, education system, or a combination of the three. as we embark on this journey back to our truest selves, cultivating self-awareness is a major component of the process. in this episode, ri discusses self-awareness, filtering out distractions, and shares some of the many ways that she has learned to cultivate self-awareness over the years.
