Bildung – Malta – Neue Podcasts

  • Now in German!" is a podcast for all (to be) expats, internationals, professionals, and German language enthusiasts who already know and understand a few sentences in German and now want to confidently express their thoughts at social events.
Add German to the list of languages you actually speak—whether catching up with colleagues over lunch or bonding with your loved ones.

Here, we focus on strategically building German skills that fit into your busy schedule and how you can implement authentic methods to develop the right tools and structures in your language journey. Note: I'm a huge fan of strategy and structure, but I also delve into language learning methods that are more sustainable than the typical flashy apps—in my opinion, both aspects are crucial for sustainable success! You can expect to hear most parts in English and maybe some examples in German because this Podcast is not here to teach you German but to equip you with the knowledge, mindset shifts and skills that you need on your journey. But I might experiment at some point with episodes in both languages.

With over 12 years of experience in the language learning field, I've spent the last 5 years as an expat, using a language not just from textbooks but for real life. With German as my first language but navigating life daily in other languages abroad, I bring this perspective in as well. While this podcast may not focus on that, I combine this experience with my didactic knowledge as a teacher and holistic learning coach, understanding exactly what it's like to be in this situation.

Whether you identify as an expat, international professional in German-speaking countries, have German-speaking partners and family, or you have German-speaking people in your inner circle in your home country, if you have the desire to naturally converse with your people in German and nail real-life conversations, then this podcast is perfect for you.

  • The Post Graduate Podcast is a raw, benevolent, and introspective podcast which aims to discuss helpful and informative keys to life that I found through experience or reading. There are 2 subsidiaries - 'The SES' (Short Episode Series) which is for shorter episodes, and 'Impartial Discussion' which is an interview based show, kind of like Joe Rogan's podcast. Hopefully the things I talk about will come in handy in your life, and if you have any crucial information that you feel the world should know - hit me up, the Impartial Discussion is always available!

  • "I am unlocking the doors to my inner peace by having the courage to ask why.

Every question is a step closer to understanding and harmony within myself." ~Jerry

I've recently crossed the milestone of 70, and the reflection that comes with it has made me realize that I haven't always been the best steward of my time, especially in the past decade and a half. In my pursuit of proving how bright, inventive and resourceful I could be, I often found myself running too fast, burning the candle from both ends, and in the process, losing sight of the joy of the moment or any joy for that matter.

I've come to understand a very fundamental truth – it's not about hoarding time, stretching it thin, or being miserly with it. It's about living and fully appreciating every moment for what it is. Living each moment free from yesterday’s pain and regret, and devoid of tomorrow’s worries and anticipation has become my passion and mission.

Mindfulness has been instrumental in this journey. It's allowed me to remain present in the moment, to find tranquility in the chaos, and most importantly, to appreciate 'now'. And from a practical viewpoint I also find I get more done, its better work and I more at peace with the results and myself.

Now, while I'm no poet, I find a peculiar peace in paring down my thoughts to their bare essence and expressing them rather raw and unadorned. It helps me shed the unnecessary, getting to the core of what I truly am thinking. Sometimes these bits make sense to others and sometimes not. You may see bits in a smattering of my poetry during our visits.

Through this podcast, I, and I hope you, will embark on a journey of self-improvement and understanding, aiming to savor each day, and find peace each hour, and hopefully, each singular moment in its purest form. We will delve into the world of mindfulness, explore its nuances, and I will invite you to join me in meditation during each episode.

So, I invite you, dear listener, to join me on this journey. Expect reflections, shared experiences, moments of silence, laughter, tears, and hopefully, the occasional bit wisdom. Here's to the joy of now. No yesterdays, no tomorrows, only now. Only now.

Impara l'olandese come hai fatto l'italiano: ascoltandone moltissimo. (Con almeno una vaga idea di cosa significhi!)

Migliaia di frasi in olandese, insieme alle traduzioni in italiano, presentate direttamente al tuo cervello: dal pratico al filosofico al flirt.

    Solo frasi, nessun riempitivo!
