  • Bradley Gray Maynard (born May 9, 1979) is an American mixed martial artist who competed in the Lightweight and Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Between 2008 and 2011, he competed in a noted rivalry with former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar.[6] Maynard competed in college wrestling at Michigan State University, and made his UFC debut in 2007. A veteran of 75 fights, he competed in various promotions including the UFC, Strikeforce, IFL, the World Series of Fighting, Titan FC, Shooto, and King of the Cage. He is also notable for being the only fighter other than George St. Pierre and B.J. Penn to defeat former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes twice.   • Tom McCarthy (born July 5, 1968) is an American sports broadcaster. He is the play-by-play announcer for Philadelphia Phillies television broadcasts and also calls National Football League games for Westwood One. He calls select NFL, NBA and college basketball games on CBS beginning in 2014. McCarthy previously served as the play-by-play voice of Saint Joseph's University men's and women's basketball teams. Very grateful to have my 2nd ever broadcaster on the pod. We talked about the Phillies of last year to what they need to do in this year free agency. We also talked how exciting it was to have his son follow in his footsteps as he is the teams AAA manager and does games for Saint Joseph.   • Nadine (Too Much) Mandiau is a MMA fighter out of San Diego. Born and raised in Belgium she moved here to Persue MMA in which she has fought for promotions like LFA and most recently Bellator. Weirdly enough this was a shocker to me she has fought AEW wrestler Thunder Rosa before she became a wrestler. She so far has compiled a record of 2-6 but is still looking at more fights in the future so stay tuned for those.   • Chris "The Westside Strangler" Brennan (born October 12, 1971) is an American mixed martial artist who last competed in the Welterweight division. A professional competitor from 1996 until 2012, he competed for the UFC, PRIDE, Cage Rage, King of the Cage and Shooto.He is a former King of the Cage Middleweight Champion and former King of the Cage Middleweight Superfight Champion. He is also one of 18 fighters to compete in the -77 kg division at the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships in 2005.Chris was also the founder of Nogi Industries, a Mixed martial arts clothing company. In 2014 Chris was inducted in to the Mixed Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Chris is the owner and founder of Next Generation MMA. After retiring from MMA competition Chris switched his focus back to grappling events and also entered and won the No-Gi Black Belt World Championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015. He was also the 2014 Nogi Pan American Champion. Glad to have him on the pod to talk about his kid succeeding in bellator. He coached the Seahawks' secondary from 1990 to 1994. He currently appears as an analyst and occasional host on the Seahawks pregame and postgame shows. Great conversating with him about his time in Seattle to his final playing days of his career after a grueling neck injury.   • James Thomson (born December 30, 1965) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. Selected 185th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, Thomson also played for the Hartford Whalers, New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings, Ottawa Senators, and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. In total, Thomson played 115 regular season games, scoring 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points and collecting 416 penalty minutes. Excellent conversating with him about his coaching his pee wee team to overcoming his addiction. As well we talked about him playing with the great one to playing in the one Stanley cup he had a chance to play in.   • William Selby (born June 11, 1970) is a former utility player from 1996 to 2003 with the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, and Cleveland Indians. He also played one season in Japan for the Yokohama BayStars in 1997. Selby played in 198 total MLB games, with a .223 career batting average. Mostly used off the bench, Selby hit a career high 6 home runs in 2002 with the Indians. The most dramatic of those home runs came on July 14, when he hit a walk-off grand slam against Mariano Rivera to defeat the New York Yankees, 10-7, in the bottom of the 9th inning. It was the first walk-off home run that Rivera had allowed in his career. Excellent hearing his stories about his career from his stints with the Indians to debuting with the Red Sox. We also talked about his hall of fame induction in the Bisons organization.   • Brian Duensing (born February 22, 1983) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, and Chicago Cubs. Interview could have gone all night but it was a blast. Talking to him about his 10 years with the Twins to the Royals, Orioles and then the Cubs. As well we talked about his playing time winning the gold and bronze for team USA.
