On this episode we talk about competing in a race with suboptimal training, or coming off a period of detraining, and hopefully avoiding straining, or re-straining something!
We also talked about snake bites, getting caught in a lightning storm and finishing ultra-endurance events with nothing left in the tank. We also talked about the real reasons for signing up for and completing an endurance event and differences between training for single events and multisport events. Good times!

We talked about when goals can motivate you and when the goal sometimes isn’t enough to motivate you. We talked about times when motivation can come from a dark or negative place as well as from a happy place. We talk about how to set and measure goals and the importance of redefining your goals across your lifetime.
