Elizabeth Jacobowitz is fascinated with the mind-body connection and the awakening of self that happens through the arts and bodywork. She facilitates change and transformation by guiding her clients in remembering, reconnecting, and rediscovering their body, mind, and soul. In this episode she dives into a particular modality called Sensory Repatterning, which increases circulation, flexibility, and ease and also can stimulate creativity and increase clarity. After receiving this work, clients commonly report a meditative state and a deep sense of peace. Body awareness is greatly enhanced and tense muscles are soothed. And, because Sensory Repatterning also strongly affects the nervous system, it can address chronic tensions (patterns) in a profound way that conventional massage cannot.

Anna Diorio is a coach, MC, rapper, singer, and songwriter. Her album, Inner Grounds, was released in 2019. Originally from New Jersey, her own path of healing has led her to be more of who she is on a soul level. It helped her find a truer version of herself. She is now helping others transform and live truer to who they really are.
[1:12] Who is Anna?
[2:06] “Inner Grounds is my first album. I am an MC, Rapper, Singer, Songwriter, and I started as a jazz singer…I like to say I have roots in jazz, and branches in hip-hop.”
[3:45] “I feel like my future self came into my body and wrote these songs, and rapped and sang these songs, and ever since then I’ve just been catching up with her.”
[6:07] “Writing rhymes and freestyling came to me as part of the healing journey. So that was definitely a moment of reclaiming my voice, my expression. I didn’t always know that I was going to do it, but I think I always did want to do it, because I knew I had something to express in a way that was bigger than the normal, everyday way.”

Tracy Griffiths has been a pioneer in the field of Integrative Medicine for over thirty years. She began as a massage therapist and is now steward and owner of the very school where she trained, IPSB at Life Energy Institute. She leads the Aromatherapy portion of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program, started by fashion icon Donna Karan, which brings essential oils, Reiki, Breath Awareness and Body Awareness Meditations to hospitals and sub-acute care centers. Her three decades of commitment to the field is paying off, as we are seeing mainstream medicine embracing more of the spectrum of treatment, and integrative medicine continues to expand throughout the country.
