  • Today we are joined by Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Clean Living Consultant, Jess Erceg who created Modernally Balanced out of her own journey of balancing her hormones and embodying a non-toxic lifestyle. We share all about the evolution of body confidence and acceptance down to releasing our own limiting beliefs about the term health and lifelong restrictions we had previously placed on ourselves. Jess divulges so much authenticity in her own stories around binge eating, restrictive lifestyles, and waking up to her own suppressed emotions.

Together we cover the importance of poop as it mirrors what is going on in our own bodies and the importance to tackling the health of your gut and digestive system. Jess vulnerably shares her own history of irregular cycles, taking her health into her own hands, and the complexity of gaining weight in high school, to then completely depleting her body. She shares her radical mindset shift to aligning with the present moment in order to find her greatest self. Without intending to cause overwhelm to anyone listening, we then discuss ways to lower the toxicity in all aspects of life and the common toxins we are unknowingly coming into contact with on a daily basis.

    We also talk about:

The stressful side to tracking macros Power of working with a coach in your individual health journey Confessions of a ‘workoutaholic’ Stool testing Chewing packs of gum to avoid being hungry Old school definition of health: “workout and watch what you eat’ Understanding what supplements best support our bodies Toxic and forever chemicals found in our cookware and water EMF radiation through wireless Bluetooth headphones Cleansing properties of therapy and opening the doorways to vulnerability

  • Britt kicks off her very first solo episode to talk about her journey throughout the 20s! She reflects back on the entire decade making note of both the highs and lows of various phases, life experiences she encountered, and navigating adult relationships. She goes through the various life sectors including college life, stepping into adulthood, career shifts, and her journey to understanding the need for balance in one's life. While the twenties are one of the most exciting and beautiful times, they can also be tough, as Britt learned through experiencing various struggles centered around control, being a people pleaser and striving for perfection, and the art of expressing oneself.

Sitting where she is today, she reflects on the true meaning of health, body image struggles, and releasing the toxic misconceptions about consumption. A common theme throughout the journey centers around the career sector in which Britt discusses her various moves, surface feelings, corporate cultures, traveling and the importance of work/life balance. A lover of all forms of life, Britt certainly gave the twenties her all, embodying the “work hard, play hard” mantra throughout the majority of her time. While the main focus of the episode lies in the early to mid-twenties, that is because Britt is still processing what took place in her later twenties and will later share some of those revelations. In addition, stay tuned for another episode focused solely on falling in love in your late twenties, getting married, and the beautiful awakening that comes from a twin flame connection. Packing an entire decade, and one of the best decades at that, into one episode is quite the journey in itself.

    What else I talk about:

Controlling relationships Heartbreak at a young age and getting cheated on Finding self-acceptance and spiritual awakening The choice behind what we consume, including alcohol Bullying in the workplace Soul level wants and needs Living in New York City Curiosity and the adventure inclined mindset The pressure to be the best Understanding when you have disconnected from your true power Realigning your life to fit your highest good

  • Have you recently experienced rock bottom, burn out, or feel like there is no way out of your current situation? Today we are joined by Chelsea Harris who created DAFFY (Do A Favor For Yourself) out of her own journey through rising from rock bottom and discovering how to heal herself through intentionally tapping into life’s daily favor checklist. We share the reasoning and emotions behind partnering together to bring DAFFY to life, and the positive impact that has already been felt by many women. In return, we reflect on building a brand for the purpose of helping others and the silver lining through which that process further expanded each of us individually.

Many of us can relate to the moments of feeling disconnected from our true nature or an innate desire to explore the areas of life that light us up most authentically. Chelsea vulnerably shares her own awakening in facing fear and how she turned to speaking truths over her fears to propel her down a more inspiring life path. She calls this practice the Triple L Process and explains how anyone can implement this method to radically shift our own lives at any moment. We also talk about the importance of emotional detoxing, witnessing vulnerability through friendship, and how to remember the ‘wild’ that exists in each of us.

    We also talk about:

Soul sisterly bonds that exist in certain friendships How what is for you, will never leave you Releasing control of external forces in order to focus back on the internal Surrendering to our faith and higher powers Awakening oneself through a daily mindful practice Profound life moments and symbolisms Embracing new beginnings

  • Many of us can relate to moments of feeling disconnected from our true selves or an innate desire to explore the areas of life that light us up most authentically. In this initial episode Britt shares her journey and reasoning behind not only digging deep in order to put forth her best self in this lifetime, but how you too hold the power to do so. And within that power lies the purpose behind the Loving Your Own Soul podcast; to help you tap into your own true potential.

5+ years ago Britt was deeply moved upon listening to her first self-improvement style podcast and was moved so much that she desired to start her own. Upon many years of self-work and pulling back the layers to tap into her true authenticity, she is proud to launch her own space of inspiration as a way to pay it forward from all that she has learned from podcasts over the years.

    Britt’s favorite podcasts have included:

The Balanced Blonde with Jordan Younger The Lively Show with Jess Lively Almost 30 with Krista Williams and Lindsey Simcik The Good Life Project with Jonathan Fields
