  • David plays for real. A former Consulting Actuary to Fortune 100 companies – such as Sony Music, Procter & Gamble, and Exxon – David left his cushy Park Avenue job 20 years ago to explore both the outer world, and his own inner world.

David says: “When you’re 10,000 feet ABOVE the Himalayas hanging from a piece of cloth, you see life differently.”

From his unique vantage point, David has now coached thousands of hours spanning 20 years and 12 countries around the globe.

At the individual level, he helps high performing entrepreneurs, executives and leaders to Play for Real – in their own growth, in their relationships, and at work. By integrating the principles of Real Truth, Real Daring, and Real Caring, they become the leaders they themselves would follow.

At the corporate level, he helps companies to improve performance and retention.

“Play for Real” is something we all get to define for ourselves. To David, it means living with even more truth, more daring, and more caring than he ever has before. The real question is
.what will “Play for Real” mean to you?

Even at your level of success, are you lacking one or more of the following:

    1) A clear, compelling vision
    2) A clear, practical plan
    3) The focus and discipline to swiftly implement the plan
    4) A clear understanding of who you truly are, and who you wish to become?

What you’ll learn about in this episode:

How David’s career started with corporate work in New York, and why he evolved his work to help business leaders create and strengthen connections Why it is important to create deep connections, and why the three components are truth, daring, and caring Why it is difficult to let go of your secrets and get to your own truth, and how to overcome that challenge Why being daring means having the courage to take risks and ask for what you want, and why it can benefit your self-esteem How David began making courageous propositions like pitching Jack Canfield to do a book together Why knowing your truth and having the daring to share your truth can help you like yourself better Why caring, for yourself and for the people in your life, is a source of strength and not a weakness What lessons David wishes he had learned earlier in his life that he feels would have benefited him How David defines “caring” versus “people-pleasing”, and why the distinction is important
