After graduating from USC film school, Soo Hugh had a difficult time landing a job, and describes herself at that time as "over[educated], underqualified." But after landing a job as an assistant, she was able to write her first script, submitted it to a fellowship, and from that, found a manager. Since then, she's been steadily climbing the ranks in the TV world, and is now in charge of Apple TV's forthcoming series "Pachinko."
