  • The Monaco Grand Prix stands out as a symbol of glamour and exclusivity in the world of sports, drawing celebrities, millionaires, and racing enthusiasts to the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. Its longstanding history and prestige have solidified its place on the Formula 1 calendar.

Monaco shares a unique relationship with Formula 1, receiving benefits such as a discounted hosting fee of just $15 million per year compared to other races that pay between $20 to $55 million. The country also retains control over TV arrangements and sponsorships. This special partnership leads to an estimated annual economic impact of $110 million for Monaco.

Despite being one of the priciest races for spectators, with ticket prices ranging from $160 for Friday’s practice to $16,000 for a 3-day luxury experience, thousands of visitors flock to the glamorous location. VIP packages, high-end accommodations such as the Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo with rooms costing up to $6,000 per night, and elite experiences cater to those ready to indulge.

The Monaco Grand Prix also features a lively yachting scene, with superyachts docking at Port Hercules and available to charter for rates between $12,000 and $140,000 per week. For instance, Faith, a lavish $200 million yacht, has a weekly rental price of $1.5 million.

Interestingly, Monaco is home to many Formula 1 drivers who are drawn to its tax advantages, privacy, and prime location. This makes the race feel like a home event for these drivers.

While there have been concerns about the future of the race due to a lack of on-track action and potential financial shortcomings, the contract between Formula 1 and Monaco has been extended until at least 2025.

As long as the Monaco Grand Prix continues to generate revenue and captivate media, it remains an essential part of the Formula 1 calendar. Nevertheless, as circumstances evolve, future changes or negotiations may reevaluate the event's unique relationship with Formula 1.

  • Today's episode takes a look at three topics: 1. LIV Golf is taking it to the PGA, 2. F1 is taking over TV production of the Monaco GP for the first time ever; and 3. The Soccer Tournament comes to the US featuring Wrexham and other European football teams. Enjoy!

  • 30 Minutes with Gary Vaynerchuk: My Thoughts I'€™ve never classified myself as a fan boy. Growing up as a first-generation Italian-American, we were taught that no one is better than anyone else, and that if you want to achieve something, you work hard until you can do justthat. Well, the message from my parents and grandparents has now come full circle when I spoke to Gary Vaynerchuk for the Brand Boost Podcast. There was a time I really didn'€™t like what Gary had to say. Not because I thought Garywas a bad guy, or because the things he said were wrong, butbecause it was information I had heard every day, for my entire life. I would listen and think to myself, are people really listening to a man tell them what to do and who is saying what mydad had been talking about for 30 years? As with most boys, we finally get it at some time around the age of 30. I began to realize that Gary'€™s message wasn'€™t what you should be doing, rather, what he is doing and how it works for him. It all seems so obvious, however, at the time, I couldn't distinguish my ass from my elbow. Making Unlikely Connections Social media has allowed us to connect to people from all walks of life, all over the globe,at any time we want. Twitter has really allowed me to make global connections that would have been nearly impossible to cultivate any other way. Of course, this doesn’tcome through osmosis. (Not sure if that even make sense, but my dadused to tell me all the time, so its become a habit. Thanks pops.) I was fortunate enoughto connect with Gary on numerous occasions here and there on socialmedia channels. Quick tip: if you’re looking to get on someone'€™s radar, add value to their conversations. If they see no value inwhat you have to say, you won’t land on their radar anytimesoon. Gary is no different. Gary takes note of people that interact with his posts, people that comment, people that share and people that add real value to the conversations. This couldn'€™t have been more evident after my interview with him. The VaynerMedia Experience I can'€™t say enough great things about how awesome the team is at VaynerMedia. From the moment Amy Schmittauer and I walked in the door, we were treated great. We were a bit early, so we were asked to hang tight in the lounge while the smiling young lady offered us water and other beverages. As show time got closer,D-Rock and India came out to greet us and welcome us to the office. (We got to record in the same room Gary records all his episodes of #AskGaryVee. Pretty freaking cool.) As hard at work the employees are, they make time to say hi, flash a smile or offer you something to make you comfortable. Mad props to Gary and team for building an awesome environment for people to actually want to beat work and be happy to be there.

  • Meet the winery that's changing the world!
The wait is over. We’re excited to unveil an exciting episode bringing to you a new way of making and selling wine.
Gary Vaynerchuk along with Nate Schroetter and Jon Troutman grew tired of wine lovers in the US being forced to pay too much for a great bottle. The traditional channels add big mark-ups to the price of wine, and too often, the farmers who pour their soul into producing great bottles are forgotten about.  Empathy Wines is a result of their empathy for The Farmer, and empathy for You, the wine drinker.
They're working with quality-conscious and sustainable grape growers in great regions of California, to produce incredible bottles of rosé, white, and red blends that ship direct to your doorstep.
Tor the top Club Empathy customers, they've created a personal Wine Concierge service. Need help selecting a special bottle of Cabernet to gift your father-in-law for the holidays? Planning a trip to wine country and want VIP access to tasting rooms? They actually give you a private number to text for any wine inquiry you have.  For more details, head to empathywines.com.

Here's a colorful phrase: ricevuto come un cane in chiesa, which literally translates to, “received like a dog in church.” It’s similar to the English “like a whore in church,” but the alliteration in the k sounds of come, cane, and chiesa seem to give it more power.Example: What did your parents think of your American boyfriend arriving on his Harley? L’hanno ricevuto come un cane in chiesa.

  • Digital Marketing Tips from Taylor Swift, Nine Digital Marketing Stats and Facebook Live Expands
In this episode, Vincenzo dives into digital marketing tips from Taylor Swift, including:

    Use FOMO for good
Take the time to appreciate your consumers
    Create special experiences.

We also take a look at nine intriguing digital marketing stats from this past week. Here they are in quick format:

Social video continues to explode. Facebook reports over 100 million video views daily!
Apartments.com finds success early on with their Super Bowl ad and, so far, their teaser ad has generated 370,000 YouTube views.
The 2016 election is the mobile election. 67% of Hispanics and 60% of black voters visit political sites on their mobile devices, per a report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
Millennials unlock their phones 200 times a day! Now, lock-screen advertising company, Unlockd, is attracting brands like Levi's, Starbucks and Hulu.
Smartphone and tablet search dominated Q4. Mobile accounted for 52% of Google clicks.
OTA said that 91% of data breaches in the first part of 2015 could have been avoided if the companies had done their technical due diligence.
Facebook goes native, and native ad formats make up more than 80% of impressions.
Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders battle it out on social. Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has more than 2.5 million Facebook fans, besting rival Hillary Clinton's 2.2 million. But Clinton has 5.24 million Twitter followers, easily beating Sanders (1.24 million) on the microblogging site. Meanwhile, they are generally even on Instagram—Hillary has 762,000 followers, edging Bernie, who has 635,000.
Trump and Cruz continue to battle it out on live streaming video platforms. Donald Trump and Ted Cruz using Facebook's new live streaming feature. The moves seem wise considering Trump has almost 5.5 million fans on the site, and Cruz has 1.8 million fans. Trump, meanwhile, has 198,000 followers on Periscope to Cruz's 25,000 on the livestreaming app.

  • In Park Howell's 30+ years in advertising, he has found that deep down people know the purpose of their organization. The problem is, it’s buried beneath the day-to-day business milieu. Busy executives don’t take the time to bring their core brand story to the surface, share it with their employees and customers, and delight in the dynamic business growth that follows. Park has experienced the transformational power of business storytelling when he took a tiny water conservation campaign in Mesa, AZ, and created the largest outreach effort of its kind in North America with more than 400 private and public entities adopting the program. With brand storytelling, Park has helped Goodwill of Central Arizona grow from 24 stores generating $17 million in annual revenue in 2003 to more than 60 stores earning more than $125 million in revenue by 2015. His business storytelling launched Coca-Cola’s ecodriving initiative among its 60,000 fleet drivers and support staff. Coke enjoyed double the savings on fuel and maintenance than projected due to the embrace of the program by its employees.
