Today we are posting an interview with Amy Adamczyk. Amy is Professor of Sociology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Programs of Doctoral Study in Sociology and Criminal Justice at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Trained as a sociologist of religion, her research focuses on how different contexts (such as nations, counties, friendship groups), and personal religious beliefs shape peopleâs deviant, moral, and health-related attitudes and behaviors. Weâll be talking today primarily about the findings from her book Handing Down the Faith.

In that time, David has personally spoken to over 30,000 students along the front range of Colorado and across the country. David is a certified trainer in ACEs, QPR, and both Youth & Teen Mental Health First Aid, where he has trained over 1,500 individualsâhe is also a Director/Trainer with Soul Shop, a faith based initiative that equips faith leaders to minister to those that have been impacted by suicide. He is personally and professionally dedicated to the mission that every person should have access to help, healing and hope.
