In 1991, Poppy King launched a range of seven matt lipsticks, named after the seven deadly sins. She was 19 years old.
Within three years, the company had grown to be one of the biggest cosmetic companies in Australia. In 1995 she received the Young Australian Of The Year award and that year the company made a profit of $6.5 million.
A few years later though, Poppy shut it down and moved to the US.
Poppy has always been a leader, not a follower and sheâs always been an original thinker in a way that has not necessarily made it easy for her.Which is what makes her next move so unexpected.

This isnât just another ghost story. This one has far too many creepy and strange coincidences.
Journalist Tristan Redman had unexplained things happen in his childhood bedroom. And he wasnât the only one. There was another family, who lived in the same house, who had similar stories. The house really did seem⊠well⊠haunted. Then things got even weirder.Tristan discovered his wifeâs great grandmother was murdered in the house next door.
Could that have anything to do with the ghost of Tristanâs childhood? The more Tristan dug the more questions he had, not just about the paranormal, but about the murder itself.
In this No Filter, Tristan talks about an extremely complicated murder plot, how he went to see psychic mediums and why he chose to keep investigating this mystery (and create a hit podcast in the process) despite it causing enormous friction within his wifeâs family.

When you think of a psychopath, you probably imagine someone like serial killer Ivan Milat. But according to David Gillespie, it's more likely to be your boss or your grandma. Five to 10 per cent of the population qualify as psychopathic, and the rate can be as high as 20 percent among corporate leaders and politicians.
