  • Coach David Marsh is the current head coach of both the University of California San Diego and Team Elite Aquatics swimming teamsWe were very fortunate to be able to convince him to sit down with us and share some of his amazing memories, both as a swimmer and a coach.As a swimmer, Coach David was a five time All American Backstroker, but his true contributions to the world's greatest sport have come as a coach. While coaching Auburn he became the most successful coach in the state of Alabama and the SEC with 12 NCAA titles, and 17 SEC titles before taking his skills to University of California San Diego.He has coached 49 Olympians from 19 different countries and in 2016 was named the head coach of the US Women's Olympic Swim Team after serving as the Assistant Men's US Olympic Swim Team in 2012. In 2016, the Team Elite swimmers he placed on Olympic teams brought home 8 Olympic medals (1 Gold for Ryan Lochte (4x200 relay), 2 Gold for Anthony Ervin (4 x 100 free relay & 50 free); 2 for Katie Meili (Bronze 100 Br & Gold 4x100 Medley relay); 1 Gold for Jimmy Feigen (4x100 free relay); 2 for Kathleen Baker (Silver 100 back; Gold 4x100 medley relay)).Sit back, relax, and enjoy listening to greatness..........as well as Jason & Rory's not so great interview skills.

  • Today's episode features the great and powerful Kara Lynn Joyce.

    Kara Lynn Joyce is a three-time USA Olympic swimmer and motivational speaker. Kara competed in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics for Team USA, earning four silver medals. In 2010, Kara took a chance and moved to Denver, CO to train with Olympic star, Missy Franklin, in an attempt to make her third Olympic team. Her journey has been captured in the beautiful film, “Touch the Wall” and continues to inspire thousands of people.

    Since retiring from swimming, Kara has moved on to her most important and inspirational project to date, as founder of the Lead Sport Summit, where young female swimmers are connected with Olympic Champions and Specialists throughout a 4 day all inclusive event. This summit focuses on the leadership, empowerment, and athletic development of teenage girl swimmers between 13-18 years old.

  • We were VERY lucky to be granted an exclusive interview with the newly minted sprint king, Michael Andrew. Michael is a US National team member. Among his many, many accolades are 10 World Junior championship medals, a gold medal at the short course world championships in 2016, 4, count them 4 national titles in 2018, as well as a gold medal at the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships. This year, he was also named to the national team for the 2019 World Championships. What might be most impressive Michael though is that it would be hard to find any professional athlete who interacts more this his fans. He has one of the best Youtube channels around, and it is both informative and entertaining. Make sure to check it out, and subscribe to it here.   • Taylor McKeown is an important part of the Australian national swimming team, winning medals at the 2016 Olympics, 2015 & 2017 World Championships, Pan Pacific Championships, and Commonwealth Games. She is also the very first Australian swimmer to agree to be on our show! We learn about her love of ocean life, race strategies, get into training sessions. We also discover how frustration can be turned into amazing motivation. It is clear that Taylor is a fierce competitor, and we cannot wait to see how the rest of her swimming career unfolds since she still has so many years left to stay at the top. We'll definitely have to get her back on the show since we barely scratched the surface here. We didn't even get into some of her biggest races and accomplishments, but for now, it's your turn to listen to the show, fall in love, and be inspired. She's also an entrepreneur, founding the Achiever's Swim Academy! Her academy provides swimmers with access to world-class knowledge through the teachings of current Olympians and world class swimmers.
