  • In Sparwood, B.C., tragedy struck when Joel Zimbalatti was found dead in his mobile home. Despite months passing since the incident, the details surrounding his death remain veiled in mystery. While one individual fled the scene before authorities arrived on Oct. 11, another, identified as "Slim" (real name Joshua Freeman), has emerged as a crucial person of interest. Joshua isn't the only person of interest though, a second man was taken into custody and released, and has since been uncooperative with the investigation.

Joel's mother Toni and his best friend Chris are pleading anyone with information on Slim's whereabouts to come forward.

Slim, described as a tall, thin white man with distinctive sideburns, was last sighted in the Kimberly area but is believed to have ties to the Okanagan region. With Slim's knowledge crucial to unravelling the events leading to Joel's death, authorities urge caution but implore anyone with information to contact them immediately.

To anyone with information regarding Joshua Freeman, the other person of interest, or the case in general, please call 1-877-987-8477. If sighted, do not approach; instead, contact authorities promptly by dialling 911.

  • On January 27th, 2008, Penny Boudreau and her daughter Karissa Boudreau went on a drive to have a heart-to-heart conversation about their relationship that had hit a rough patch since Karissa moved in with Penny and her new boyfriend in an apartment in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. A major snowstorm was set to hit the region that evening so Penny decided to stop at a grocery store on their way home, but when she came back out to the car, 12-year-old Karissa was nowhere to be found. The entire community was shell-shocked that a child could go missing in their town, but nothing could have prepared them for the truth.

The investigation started on November 15th, 2017, when her boyfriend reported her missing, having last seen her the night before on Little Mountain.

Witnesses recall her acting confused and paranoid at a Liquor Depot the day prior.

As we explore the timeline and circumstances, discover the details about Carmel's life leading up to her disappearance. Despite extensive efforts by law enforcement, Carmel's whereabouts remain unknown. The investigation rules out her boyfriend's involvement, leaving a haunting question: Where is Carmel Gilmour, and what secrets might the small town of Parksville be hiding?

As we detail the perplexing case, we'll explore the emotional toll on her family, the questions surrounding her sudden disappearance, and the haunting possibility that someone, or something, knows more than they're letting on.

  • On January 7th, 2015, a tragic event unfolded in Wyses Corner, Nova Scotia, leaving an indelible mark on a local family. The lives of Bill, Ida, and Ann Ward were tragically cut short when they were discovered deceased in their Wyses Corner residence following a house fire. However, the fire itself was not the cause of their untimely deaths. The unfortunate incident was linked to 30-year-old Codey Hennigar, who happened to be Ann's son and the grandson of Bill and Ida. Codey had been grappling with untreated schizophrenia while residing on the Wyses Corner property, leading to this heartbreaking outcome. This case prompts us to confront a challenging question: Is there ever a justifiable circumstance in which we should administer medication to an adult against their will?
