  • Award-winning BBC journalist Andrew Gold interviews deep and quirky outsiders, such as a Westboro Baptist Church defector and a female Mormon psychopath. Joining the mix are such celebrated thought leaders as feminist Helen Lewis, Lord Daniel Finkelstein and free speech advocate Andrew Doyle.

The aim is to surprise you with a totally different story every time in this 2x Apple Noteworthy show. One week, we're in a Michigan prison with a man who accidentally killed his girlfriend in a botched suicide, the next we're in Australia with the Coffin Confessor, and then we're in the Andes with a plane-crash survivor who had to eat his friends. The only thing that links them all is their place On the Edge.

This is for fans of Louis Theroux, Joe Rogan and Adam Buxton. New episodes every Monday.

  • Stacey Solomon has just had a baby...several years after her last baby! What's changed, how are things different, what's acceptable, what new stuff is there to make the process less daunting? In each episode Stacey sparks debate around all subjects surrounding childbirth and what it means to be a new mum in 2019. From friends popping in, to famous faces and even the possible inclusion of the man who got her into this mess (Joe Swash)....the conversation will flow and the topics will be covered in a similar way to Loose Women......but with parenthood at the centre of the show

  • Cleaning motivation and entertainment as you trudge through those mundane household chores, possibly with kids under foot. Get productive as the host gently talks you through cleaning each area of your home, keeping you focused and on task. The original host’s daughter is the host in Season 2.

  • Children don’t come with an instruction manual, and the reason for this is that not all children are the same. If anyone tries to sell you a notion that there’s one way to parent, there isn’t. Good parenting involves being able to react and respond in a flexible way to the issue that your child is displaying.

In light of this complexity, the ‘Asking for a parent’ podcast will describe the most common and complex child rearing challenges and provide better ways for listeners to understand a child's behaviour.

One of the best predictors of child behaviour is a parent’s understanding of the meaning behind the behaviour. Therefore the discussions inform parents of why children do what they do, and how best to respond to it.

Lots of parenting resources out there heap pressure on parents rather than promote reasonable expectations and understanding. This podcast is conversational, and will not be filled with jargon or unreasonable expectations. The solutions are be ‘real world’ and take into account of parental pressures of time and energy.

Topics under discussion will include the severe challenges to the normative developmental issues. Ranging from a teenager who is developing eating disorder behaviours to a 5 year old who is nervous about going to birthday parties. All challenges are relative and the podcast will aim to be as comprehensive as possible.

Listeners can send in their own questions or worries about their child or indeed about their own mental health concerns and these will be addressed where possible.
