The Take The Trip Foundation welcomes Travis Rhine. Travis's gesture of goodwill to send terminally ill patient Cissy Carroll on one last trip with her family is what sparked the inception of the Take The Trip Foundation. On this episode we talk to Travis and founder of TTTF Jason Carroll about how this all got started, their mission, and the importance of Life Insurance for any young person.
Travis studied at Coastal Carolina University and began working with New York Life 15 years ago. In his career he has won countless awards, and Travis strives to help his clients be financially secure, including life insurance policies, so they can enjoy their retirement. In this episode of Take The Trip Podcast, we have the opportunity to speak with Frankie and Brittney Fowler, the first recipients of the Take The Trip Foundation. Frankie was diagnosed with Astrocytoma Grade 4 Brain Cancer in December of 2022. Since then, the Fowler's have had their lives turned upside down with Frankie's terminal illness. Trying to navigate finances, care for Frankie all while raising their two teenage boys, has been a challenge. A man of faith, Frankie came across the rising country singer Drew Baldridge, and his song "Big Prayers" spoke to him. Frankie contacted Drew to let him know how much the song meant to him, and Drew featured his message on his Instagram page. Jason and Cissy Carroll, the founders of the Take The Trip Foundation happened to come across this page, and Jason knew instantly that this was their first family.
We chatted with the Fowlers about their experience with TTTF, and what is truly important in life, and along with travel and creating memories, the Fowlers realized that the Take The Trip Foundation is more than just sending young families with a terminal illness on one last vacation. It is also a valuable resource to help you navigate through some of the toughest times in your life. Jason and Cissy are true advocates, and will always be connected to the Fowlers, and the many more families they hope to benefit through this foundation.

Despite Cissy’s recent devastating health diagnosis and being given 3-6 months left to live, she still has the desire to spread joy and hope to other families in similar circumstances. By making this dream a reality for families, TTTF will help create cherished memories for loved ones while also giving inspired community members everywhere the opportunity to pay it forward through volunteer efforts and
