In this episode of "The Amanda Kaufman Show," Amanda Kaufman talks about the importance of flexibility in building a coaching or consulting business. She emphasizes that the titles we give ourselves, whether coach, mentor, facilitator, or something else, don't matter as much as the modality we offer to help people transform. Amanda also highlights the importance of time freedom in living a fulfilling life and suggests that becoming comfortable with the consequences of our choices is the key to experiencing true freedom. She encourages listeners to be present, challenge themselves to do more, and embrace flexibility to access the freedom they desire. Profitability is an important factor in saving and achieving success in business. W
omen are often conditioned to save, but talking about profitability is often overlooked. Finding the right balance between profitability and a passion for what you do is important, as there is an emotional cost to being an entrepreneur.
Financial responsibility is also key, in order to ensure enough money is always available for regular expenses. To be successful, you need passion for work, a purpose behind it and proficiency in your work. It is important to allow space and time for success to take root and prioritize what is most important to you.
When striving for success, you must express who you are and what you aim for. And when setting up coaching sessions, having a system that triggers coaching, reminders and agendas for productive calls and a three-strike reminder system with disabled reminders for clients not attending are important.

Cutting through the noise of social media with your coaching business is tough, but in May 2022 FB came out with a new feature that is helping Group owners reach their members in a better way.
The “@ everyone” tag is creating a lot of buzz on the platform, as people debate whether it’s a good idea to use this to reach people for marketing purposes or not.
In this episode, I’m sharing my thoughts (in the wee hours!) and how you can use this effectively with your coaching business, and if you check out the full episode you can get more ideas and the full transcript for the episode here: https://bit.ly/3VspHdk

Nothing in nature is always in a massive growth trajectory in an unmitigated fashion... and I'm no exception. Lately, I've pulled back from writing and posting quite as much, still there a lot, but still - I'm quieter on the socials, because I've been building - elsewhere. :) Get the full transcript, plus a little more of the backstory on my full blog at https://bit.ly/3en5RPU or listen to the podcast if you're on the go there.

This week in our program, Level Up+, I got a fantastic question from a client…
The question stopped me dead in my tracks… I had to record a full-blown FAQ response to it.
So I did!
But then, I didn’t stop there…
I realized that my fierce independence growing up was a major reason that I didn’t achieve as an adult at the same pace that I did as a teenager and young adult when my support systems fell away and I was left to my own devices.
Especially as a “solo-preneur”
For the record, I despise the term “solo-preneur”
Seriously, it’s the worst term in the world…
Because no successful entrepreneur truly operates independently, and neither does any corporate employee or academic.
Humans are a social species.
The whole term “self-made man” or “self-made person” is total garbage.
Even when I was started out at the very beginning of my journey, and I felt the absolute loneliest and scaredest - I was never truly alone.
But I kept thinking of myself as a solo-preneur, like I had to do all this alone, or I was a failure.
And that thinking literally kept me small.
Well…
I thought about keeping that FAQ inside my paid program, but this idea seemed too important to keep in there, so I decided to publish it publicly, here on the blog and podcast!
Enjoy!

Starts and stops when you're in launch-mode of a coaching business can be devastating to your progress... but what do you do when real-life seems to interfere and you legitimately have SO MUCH on your plate?
Kids, second jobs, responsibilities... most coaches are drawn to this career out of a desire to help others, and the reality is that most coaches are ALREADY helping others extensively.
What do you do when the plate gets over-full and it seems like you can't keep going? Amanda is down with a common detractor of progress this week, so what a perfect moment to talk about how to handle life's slow-downs...

As a business owner, you wear many hats. But at some point, you may need to bring in help to wear some of those other hats. When is the right time to hire a coach? Here are a few things to consider…
What are you already doing well, trained at, and good at, that you can do easily without having to learn a new skill? What’s your start-up budget like, and how much cashflow does your business have available to affordably invest in support? If you say “I have NOTHING”, then it’s time for a big reality check - no business has nothing, there’s always opportunities for reducing expenses somewhere and finding revenue somewhere else! Start small and grow steady with clearly defined investment of support - it would be nice if you could hire out everything all at once, but as we discuss in this episode, part of the puzzle of business ownership is deciding where to allocate your resources!Join this week to hear what we focused on first, and why, and what we’d do differently if we started all over again.

Have you ever hopped from one marketing strategy to another, hoping to find “the right” one?
Or went all the way through executing something, only to find that the shoe didn’t fit, even after you thought you finally found that “Cinderalla shoe” of a marketing strategy?
This used to happen to me over and over again, and it led me to spending literally hundreds of thousands of dollars on courses, programs, and coaching to try to figure out what I was doing “wrong” until I realized that the marketing wasn’t the problem…
Tune into this special episode of the show where I talk about why it’s so hard for us to find the “right fit” and what I had to do instead, and why this might lead to superior coaching in your own clients as they struggle to seek that “silver bullet” in their own transformations as well…

I’m a huge advocate of creating a support system so that you can “have it all” in your life…
BUT you need to make sure that the support system is adequately supported, or else you might find yourself in a worse situation.
Hiring creates expense, both in time management and expenses - hiring is often positioned as the solution, but it’s an incomplete solution if you don’t have the processes and planning in place to make sure you are making:
- The correct hires
- The correct role definitions
- The correct budgeting to support paying the roles
Often it’s the feelings and emotions that lead to emotional decisions, without the strategic decision-making and processes.
For my consciousness-based coaches out there, think of it as balancing the masculine and the feminine…
For my science and business-minded coaches - think of it as balancing the structure and the flow of the business.
Listen to the episode to get one of the biggest lessons in my business when it came to getting quality team support.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is simply start - or re-start, and in this episode that’s exactly what we’re talking about…
This very blog has been through several iterations over the years, and we’re back, updated, with a new format that’s personal and perfect for following along with what’s new, what’s changing, what’s growing and evolving with building a multi-7-figure company…
But even with the lessons of growth, it’s always coming back to those first principles, the foundations, again and again, that the quantum leaps happen.
This week I’m sharing what has made the biggest impact in my business lately, and that’s tapping into the power of momentum - without perfection.

This week we mixed things up a bit in The Coach’s Plaza FB group and we had a LIVE down-to-earth interview about how Ms. W did it…
And by “did it” we mean she got 25 clients and filled 3 group coaching pods without posting to social media multiple times a day, running ads, or even hosting webinars!
This week’s episode of The CRUSH Method Show is a little different than how we usually do it, but you’ll be thrilled to catch this discussion with a REAL entrepreneur coach that owns her stuff.
She was able to build a multi-6-figure coaching practice that allowed her to quit her old job to be a full-time Certified High-Performance Coach in her own business.
We’re covering how Ms. W’s mindset changed since the beginning of her coaching journey, how she had to learn how to say “no” when her coaching practice snowballed into something she never imagined, and what it was she learned from The Coaching Biz Accelerator Program that made the difference!
There are some amazing tips and insights on how to maintain a strong, goal-oriented coaching business, so don’t miss out on this inspiring interview in this week’s episode of The CRUSH Method Show.
