General Thomas Sumter, aided by Colonels Francis Marion and Light Horse Harry Lee, attack the British at Quinby's Bridge and Shubrick's Plantation. Marion goes on to another attack near Parker's Ferry. Meanwhile, General Greene advances efforts to reestablish the patriot government in Georgia.
