After 2006, Leah was plagued with an illness, an unknown cause of splenic aneurysm, became a chronic asthmatic after having a cold, and increased stress from her job. At this time, she started searching for answers, "why me, why was I sick, tired, stressed out?" and after starting martial arts again in 2008 she started looking for other ways to optimise her health. Through Lots of trial, error and even more injuries over time, In 2016 she really started to get into more personal development, as she knew her health was a direct result from her overall wellness. Now she understands, From what she eats, the exercises, and her spiritual connection, they are all intertwined to bring a complete picture of wellness that she strives for today.
