Over the weekend of 23rd and 24th September, the doors of St Anne's Church in Bishop Auckland will be open to visitors as part of the "Bishop Celebrating Together" weekend. Photo competitions, cup-cake contests and cake decorating form part of a very busy weekend for Reverend Eileen Harrop.

The annual Bishop Auckland Town Council Horticultural and Produce Show will take place in The Town Hall on Saturday 23rd September 2017 from 12pm till 3pm.
Bishop FM's Peter Rush spoke with two of the stewards, Liz and Chris from Pollards Allotments.
There will be a presentation by the Mayor, Councillor Adam Zair at 2:30pm, followed by an exhibitor’s auction in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance. -

Darlington born and bred, David Hogg, 67, has spent all his working life at the 72-year old firm, serving 20 years as a legal executive before qualifying as a solicitor in 1995, and promoted to partner in 2002. David still has his original contract that shows his first day at work as being 14th August 1967 and his starting pay of £5 a week.
"Not quite retired", David talks to Gary Burgham about his experiences at work over the years. -

Tigs and her mum talk to Gary Burgham about the fund raising work they do and the support they offer to Binchester (and other) Community Centres. Tigs has recently been voted Miss Durham 2017 and is going on to enter the Miss Great Britain Contest this September. As well as all that, Tigs is off to Durham University at the end of the month.
