O 10 de outubro de 1954, emitíase a primeira entrega de Galicia Emigrante, un formato concibido e escrito por Luis Seoane ao redor de Galicia e a súa cultura dirixido á comunidade galega de Bos Aires. Inspirándose naquela emisión, nace Canal Seoane, un proxecto que busca homenaxear aquela iniciativa cultural e recoller dalgunha maneira o seu testemuño, adaptándoo ás circunstancias actuais, marcadas pola aparición dunha nova ola migratoria xurdida das crises económicas de 2008 e 2014 e de fenómenos como a globalización.
O proxecto estrutúrase ao redor de dúas propostas diferentes: Galicia é migrante e Testemuñas no tempo. A primeira consta de catro podcasts conducidos por catro comunicadores galegos: o actor e director Quico Cadaval; o escritor, director e actor Lino Braxe; o deseñador Antón Lezcano e o colectivo Porco Bravú. Entrevistas, efemérides, a cultura clásica ou as incursións na linguaxe das novas xeracións de comunicadores galegos, entre outras cuestións, protagonizarán os diferentes episodios deste programa, aberto a futuras colaboracións doutros artistas vinculados á divulgación e á creación cultural.
Testemuñas no tempo recolle as reflexións de case unha vintena de novos profesionais galegos que desenvolven a súa actividade laboral fuera de Galicia, unha serie de cinco podcasts dirixida por Alejandro Pan na que os convidados relatan as súas experiencias no estranxeiro durante o recente período de confinamento. -
