Posture matters. When we humble ourselves before God, we open the door for His breakthrough and blessings in our lives. Just as the people of Nineveh turned from their ways with fasting, repentance, and humilityโeven their king laid aside his titles to honor Godโwe too must take a posture that can receive. Letโs humble ourselves, lead our homes in honoring God, and watch Him respond with transformation and fire. โIf My people who are called by My name humble themselves and prayโฆโ (2 Chron 7:14)

When faced with lifeโs challenges, where do you turn for answers? Pastor Alex reminded us this Sunday of the importance of seeking Godโs wisdom above all else. Avoid relying on:- Human wisdom that distorts truth- Bitterness, envy, or self-seeking advice- Supernatural sources outside of God Instead, trust in:- Godโs Word as your ultimate guide (Jeremiah 17:5-6)- Prayer for wisdom and direction (James 1:5, Psalm 50:15)- Acknowledging God in every area of your life (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Key Reminder: The Lord is not the author of confusion but of peace. When you inquire of Him, He will guide you to clarity, strength, and victoryโjust as He did for David and Moses. As Christians, we are called to deny ourselvesโspecifically, our soul. There is a clear distinction between the spirit, soul, and body. The soul encompasses our emotions, feelings, and intellect. To truly live for Christ, we cannot be driven by the desires of our soul. If we seek to experience the fullness of God, we must not only hear His Word but also live it out, denying the selfish nature of our soul and surrendering fully to His will.
