Ever wonder why French people all know each other? Sometimes it feels like we’re living in a small village instead of a pretty sizable country, well, I break down the secret behind that and chat a little bit about my upcoming trip to Barcelona and how not to be sick all winter long. In the second half of the episode I misspoke and said something about “English is the most popular language” what I meant to say was that in my experience when traveling lots of people in the hospitality sector speak English so it’s pretty useful. During the COVID-19 pandemic when most were worried about the perils of air travel our family journeyed from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta to Charles De Gaulle in Paris. As a Franco-American family our experience is pretty unique. I walk through our check-in experience, travelling with an emotional support animal, in this case our family dog, a 46-pound Goldendoodle. I also discuss the decision to remove our masks on the plane and what happened in immigration when we arrived in Paris, France.
If you have similar travel experience and want to share please find me on instagram @allysacleux or shoot me an email and we could feature you on an upcoming show.
