  • Nathan and Jacob fulfil a small dream as they review a much-berated album by their idol, Sir Paul McCartney!

In the middle of the 80s (and the midst of his own creative drought), McCartney teams up with renowned producer, Hugh Padgham, to create an album of songs about summer, ancient civilisations, film sets, and old men talking about birds.

But is it as bad as everyone says it is? Will these two McCartney superfans be forced to admit their hero got it wrong? Let's find out.

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob sit down for their first film review in a VERY long time and it is a doozy - 2010's ensemble romantic comedy, Valentine's Day.

With a cast full of famous names, Valentine's Day attempts to juggle multiple love stories across a single day in LA. The boys try to wade through a mess of plots, underdeveloped characters, and cheesy clichés.

Will the star-studded cast (including Taylor Swift's acting debut) be enough to make this film worthwhile? Let's find out.

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob are back for 2022 and kick things off with one of the biggest names in noughties pop history!

The boys review The Black-Eyed Peas' Fergie's solo debut album, The Dutchess (with a T), and tackle some of the biggest-selling and most famous songs in Bad Things history - as well as some rarities and oddities (emphasis on the "odd" part).

Samples aplenty, weird metaphors, geographical errors, The Duchess of York, Will.i.am, this album has it all! But is it actually bad?

Nathan and Jacob gather round the Christmas tree for another festive flop!

This year, John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John have been put on the naughty list for their 2012 album, This Christmas. The album is stuffed with holiday standards and favourites alongside one original song that will blow your mind.

Join the boys as they navigate some dodgy singing, familiar guest stars, Nathan getting emotional about old Christmas music, and some Bad Things-themed gift-giving.

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob tackle one of their most treacherous topics to date as they review the first posthumous release from Michael Jackson - 2010's Michael.

Released just months after the troubled star's death, Michael is a hodgepodge of unfinished and unreleased songs cobbled together by a ea of producers and guest vocalists. Oh, and some of the songs may not actually be sung by MJ.

Join the boys as they recount MJ's life, play a game of "Michael or Not Michael" with the songs, and try and work out if this album was actually worth it.

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob take a trip back in history to review an animated movie that sure as hell ain't James Cameron.

Titanic: The Legend Goes On is a total trainwreck of a movie; plagued by bad dubbing, bad editing, bad acting, and bad... well, just about everything! The boys deal with 50 minutes of confusing plot moments, baffling lines of dialogue, and songs that really did not need to be there.

A film that broke Nathan's concept of the English language, this movie is something else...

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob go back to the early 2010s for a dose of Party Rock courtesy of Sky Blu and Redfoo - collectively known as LMFAO.

The boys review their second album, "Sorry For Party Rocking", which contains mega singles like "Party Rock Anthem" and "I'm Sexy And I Know It" as well as collaborations with Calvin Harris and Will.i.am.

Is there anything redeemable on an album almost entirely about partying, drinking, and chasing girls? Well, this is the Bad Things Podcast, so what do you think...

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob take on their most divisive topic yet, as they tuck into Seth Rogen's animated adult comedy - Sausage Party!

Despite some outstanding reviews (82% on Rotten Tomatoes!), Jacob refused to believe that this film is any good and sets out to prove it. What will the boys make of almost an hour and a half of toilet humour, stereotypes aplenty, and that scene at the end of the film?

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob pick up their half microphone stands and say a huge "DAYYYYYYYY OH" to the album Hot Space - Queen's much-maligned "Disco" album from the early 80s.

The boys sink their teeth into Queen's epic backstory including "The Five Queen Songs Nathan Actually Likes" and their many gripes with the film Bohemian Rhapsody. They then settle into a disco/funk/rock LP containing songs about love, dancing, John Lennon, and Freddie Mercury yelling ridiculous things.

Is this album as bad as everyone says it is? Or were people in the 80s just being moody because Queen decided to try something new?

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob grab their guitars and dig out their tightest leather trousers for their review of the 2013 movie musical Rock of Ages!

An adaptation of the Broadway show of the same name, Rock of Ages features songs from the likes of Journey, Foreigner, Poison, and Quarterflash(?) performed by Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Cruise - no, really!

The Bad Things boys deal with a paper thin plot, buttock-clenching dialogue, dodgy portrayals of gay love, and SO. MANY. SONGS.

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob get their spice on as they review the debut (and thus far only) studio album by Posh Spice - Victoria Beckham.

The last of the Spice Girls to release a solo record, VB's album features cheesy ballads, pseudo-R&B numbers, and... not much else.

The Bad Things boys get to grips with a thoroughly bland album, as well as Victoria's other solo efforts, her's and David's insane wedding, and her obsession with the date and time.

  • Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

It's been months in the making, but Nathan Packham and Jacob Simmons finally sit down to review the absolute carwreck that is Movie 43.

What happens when over a dozen big name celebrities perform a series of nauseating sketches mixed in with a non-sensical plot about gangsters, cougars, and the apocalypse.

Chris Pratt takes some laxatives, Batman and Robin go speed dating, Elizabeth Banks gets run over by a cat, and Hugh Jackman... well, see for yourself.

Nathan and Jacob kick off 2021 (a month into the year) with their review of Robbie Williams' 2006 electro-rap album, Rudebox.

The Bad Things Boys talk about Robbie's turbulent history in the music business, before getting to grips with nearly 75 minutes of obscene lyrics, horrendous rapping, weird guest stars, bonkers covers, and a song called "D*ckhead".

What a way to start the year.

It's the Bad Things 2020 Christmas Special!

As voted for you by you, Nathan Packham and Jacob Simmons dig into the Christmas feast that is 1998's Jack Frost.

After his tragic death in a car accident, Michael Keaton comes back to life as a snowman to spend one last Christmas with his son. If that doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will.

Nathan and Jacob have all the trimmings with this one; bad acting, atrocious special effects, dialogue to make your skin crawl, and a snowman puppet that is actually the stuff of nightmares.

    Ho Ho Holy Crap.

The worst songs to ever (dis)grace the top of the UK charts - this is Extra Bad!

Nathan and Jacob hop into their musical time machine to review their five least favourite UK number one singles from every single decade (except the 50s).

This time around, it's the 1970s; a decade neither of our hosts are particularly fond of. Their choices include Eurovsion entries, farmers, small children, and novelty songs galore.

Will the 70s live up to their low expectations? There's only one way to find out.

Nathan and Jacob head to X-Factorland one more time as they review the journey of one Eoghan (pron. Owen) Quigg.

Not only do they cover his time on the show, but the Bad Things Boys also talk about Eoghan's one and only studio album; a bizarre array of covers and one original song that has to be heard to be believed.
