Aaron Yoder is a World Champion backwards runner. He also holds various Guinness Book of World Records for backwards running. Aaron is the head track and field and cross country coach at Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS.

We talk with Pat Melgares about his book that is coming out, Chasing Excellence, The Remarkable Life and Inspiring Vigilosophy of Coach Joe I. Vigil. Pat is a former athlete of Coach Vigil. Pat and his family have lived in the Manhattan area for a while now. His wife Susan is a teacher and cross country coach at Manhattan High. All three of his kids have gone on to run at the NCAA Division 1 level. Chris and Michael at KU and Cara at KSU.

Stan Hockerson is the owner of Heart & Sole Sports in Albuquerque, NM. He is also the owner of 9 patents, most of which have to do with the shoes you probably have on your feet right now. He was also an accomplished high school and college runner in his own right. Oh, and he is a scratch golfer!

His first race ever was The Keys 100 Miler.
He reluctantly accepts the nickname "Gravy" and is currently chasing a marathon time that his son (22) won't be able to run at 46.
He prefers surfing over running.
He was a small business owner for 10 years and never thought he'd work for a big bad evil corporate empire, but here he is: selling out.
