2 Samuel 22 is a powerful and poetic song written by King David, offering heartfelt praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. This song parallels Psalm 18 where David recalls how he cried out to the Lord in distress, and God responded with awesome, mighty power, shaking the heavens to come to his aid. It is a beautiful, poetic reflection on Godâs saving power, perfect ways, and enduring loyalty to those who trust in Him. Is the Lord your Rock and Fortress?
