Warning: this episode may be a bit of a hot take. :)
It takes about .5 seconds scrolling through the fitness side of social media to see countless messages bashing the idea of "restriction..." Claims like, "restriction isn't healthy for your relationship with food," or "you can reach your goals without restricting anything," or "restriction isn't necessary to be successful in fitness," definitely mean well, but is restriction truly as bad as people make it out to be?
In this week's episode, I explain why restriction ISN'T the enemy it's made out to be. In fact, some degree of restriction may be beneficial (and dare I say necessary?) for true, lasting success in your fitness journey.
