We have made it to episode 50!!
In this episode, we put everything we have learned in the last 4 lessons (and beyond) into practice by seeing if we can understand some short texts about holidays.
It's a bit of a longer one to end this season! Hopefully that's a good thing as it means extra practice, but we will try to keep future episodes to under 30 minutes :)
Thank you so much for tuning in and if you have listened to all 50 episodes - we hope they have been useful to you on your Catalan journey.
We have loved meeting a lot of you (virtually and even in person!) and we hope to meet many more of you and get to know you even more. Please don't be shy - feel free to reach out to us either over email ([email protected]) or social media (you can find linked below). Even if just for a quick hello to let us know you are listening, or also we would love feedback and to get your ideas on what more you want from the pod in season 2.
We will be back in September but in the meantime you might want to keep up with us on social media - since we are going back to Catalunya we will likely post a little on there... fins aviat!Support the show

We hope you find it useful as always. We would love it if you rated or reviewed the pod if you haven't already.

Benvinguts i benvingudes al episodi 48!
So far we've covered present and past tenses, this one is all about the future! (The most common future tense - the simple future). We hope it is simple for you to understand and use ;)
You will also learn some time expressions in the future tense so that you can use these verbs in sentences and start talking about future plans, including holiday plans!
We do lots more practice in the bonus episode so join us for that if you think you could benefit and you will also have access to lesson notes from the lessons on Patreon to help you refer to when you want to go back and recap the tenses.
The Patreon is linked below or you can find it by typing 'The Lazy Linguist' on Patreon.

Welcome back! Benvinguts i benvingudes de nou!
This episode is all about the present tense!
We are delving into the grammar side of things much more in the next few lessons so that we can begin to really feel confident in communicating in different tenses, since we always use them in our every day conversations.
We have obviously already seen aspects of the present tense, but this episode is going to break down exactly all of 'the rules' of how to form it for a huge variety of verbs.
It is quite a lot of information to take in in this one so be sure to have a pen and paper to hand, or check our our detailed lesson notes on Patreon where this is all in writing and summarised into nice tables for you.
We hope you enjoy and find it useful :)Support the show

Welcome back to another episode! You have reached a review episode where we put all our knowledge from the last four episodes to the test. There will also be some recap of even prior knowledge and some new things to learn along the way, particularly those kind of 'filler' words and phrases to use in a conversation as we are going to be listening to a dialogue and trying to work out its meaning.
Let us know if you were able to follow along! And do you like these style of reviews? Do you like the quiz style? Is it helpful to recap language in this way? We would love to hear your feedback!
You you can join us for a quiz in the bonus lesson to consolidate your knowledge even further, particular language learnt in those bonus episodes. You can access our bonus material on our Patreon which you can find by typing in Lazy Linguist or clicking the link below.
