  • Author Emma Grey is the beautiful mind behind 'The Last Love Note'. If you've read it, you'll know it's a simultaneously heart-warming and heart-breaking story about young mum Kate Whittaker, who's lost the love of her life and is trying to navigate a new beginning. (And if you haven't read it, what are you waiting for? Go! Go! Go!) What's particularly heart-wrenching is that Emma wrote this book after losing the love of her life, her husband Jeff, in 2016. We chat to her about her grief journey, how she translated that onto paper to create such an entertaining rom-com, how she aims to turn up the light in her every day life - and she even shares a sweet story about Harry Styles too!

Ok. I think I may've just interviewed the sweetest human ever. Priya is a Tik Tok star (@himynameispriya) whose wholesome food and lifestyle videos are loved by over a million people around the world. She sat down with me to talk about her Tik Tok fame, how it's changed her life but not who she is on the inside, her challenges along the way and her hope to bring more Indian representation to mainstream platforms. She is such a delight and honestly, we could've talked for hours!

  • CONTENT WARNING: This episode discusses pregnancy loss.

Hello CelebrityKind fam... This week's guest is Australian model, actress, film-maker and all 'round beautiful human Tahyna MacManus who takes us inside her documentary "MuM: Misunderstandings of Miscarriage" out now on Stan Australia.

Tahyna created this film so she could start a conversation about pregnancy loss, something 1 in 4 women experience yet we so rarely speak about. We discuss her own pain and heartbreak, the lack of emotional support for women and their families, what loved ones can do to help and those photos of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend in hospital.

This episode is for anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss, or knows someone who has. You're not alone and the more we talk about it, the more we can all help break the stigma.

Follow Tahyna on Instagram @tahynamacmanus or follow @mum_documentary for more about her film. You can also read some wonderful pregnancy loss support resources at Pink Elephants Support Network.

  • Hello CelebrityKind fam! My guest today is the incredible Laura Sobiech, the mother of singer/songwriter Zach Sobiech, and author of "Clouds: A Memoir" which inspired the movie "Clouds" starring Fin Argus and Sabrina Carpenter.

We talk about everything from the heartbreak of losing her teenage son to cancer, to having Neve Campbell portray her in the movie and whether director Justin Baldoni really is the dreamboat we all think he is (spoiler alert: he is!).

Laura has such a beautiful outlook on life. She is so positive and so full of gratitude - it's easy to see where Zach got it from. This episode is a beautiful reminder that we all have limited time, let's make the most of our lives.

  • It's not often you see a Middle Eastern woman cast as the LEAD in a Hollywood production! So when I came across "Little Birds" star Yumna Marwan, I HAD to have her on the podcast! We talk about everything from her family's reaction to her playing a dominatrix (!!) to her wild teenage years and the extreme lack of representation of Middle Eastern women on screen. At one point in the interview she says, "I would just like to be cast as a yoga teacher so I could have fun as an actress and not always have to feel that I am representing an entire quarter of the globe." Whew. Yep. Powerful stuff.

  • Hollywood actor, producer and writer Major Dodge called in from Dallas, Texas this week to talk about his film 'Bomb City' based on the true story of punk rock musician Brian Deneke who was killed by a school football star in 1997.

This movie BLEW. MY. MIND for so many reasons. Cinematically, it's flawless. But it's the message which really moved me - a message about looking past appearances and as Major says, loving everyone no matter how different they are.

A powerful movie with a powerful message: Watch 'Bomb City' on iTunes.

  • I know NOTHING about NRL but I know who Braith Anasta is so that's a good start, right? The former Bulldogs and Roosters captain is my guest on the show and we chat about all things mental health: the ups and downs of being a professional athlete, the challenges he faced making it as an 18-year-old, coping with his father's suicide and now using his platform to mentor young athletes. I wasn't expecting Braith to be so honest and open in this interview, but he was. And I hope he inspires YOU to not only reach out for help when you need it, but also check in on your family and friends who might be struggling.
