Vijayakanth, one of the iconic Tamil stars from yesteryear, rose to fame and became known for his rivalry with the likes of Superstar Rajnikanth. He garnered a loyal fanbase, particularly in the rural parts of the state. I’ve been working on bringing this Season out for a long time, but for various reasons, I couldn't publish it while he was alive. This series serves as a tribute to the Captain and shows our love for him and the great person he was.New episodes will be released every fortnight, and the first episode in the series will be published tomorrow at 6:30 PM.
Until then, Ciao :)

Hello Makkale,
I hope all are doing fine. We actually recorded this episode the week after the movie was released, however, due to my personal engagements couldn't release it at that time.
But, I'm glad that I'm releasing it this week especially when the movie has premiered on Amazon Prime.
In this episode, I had two guests Sanjeev and Vignesh with me who shed so much light on so many things.
In this episode, we discussed:
What was the expectation when the movie was announced? About the movie not getting the right Rating. Nelson's brand of comedy, both good and bad. Were their expectations met? About the Big Star cameos in this movie. What do we expect from Rajini in the upcoming movies? Star Directors choose to stay with Star actors and not others.and much more. I really enjoyed recording this episode because we literally spoke much less than we actually wanted to. Hope, you enjoy this episode as much as we loved speaking.

Hello Makkale,
Hope you're doing well. In this week's episode, we talk about Mani Ratnam's directional Ponniyin Selvan 2 which is the second part of the epic Drama Ponniyin Selvan 1 (PS1) released last year.
In this episode, we had two guests Bharathi Srinivasan and Cranberry with us who had mixed feeling about the movie as much as I did.
In this episode, we discussed:
How did they like the diversion from the Source material? Did they like that the Movie is focused primarily on Aadita Karikaalan and Nandhini? What they would have liked to see instead of the War sequence between the Cholas and Rashtrakootas? Did they miss seeing Manimekalai in the Movie and adding her character would have done something to the plot? If given a chance what will they do with the Source Material from Ponniyin Selvan's Novel? Have they read any Novel/Books which takes the lead from the end of the Ponniyin Selvan book?Hope you enjoy listening to this episode.

Capernaum, the highest Grossing Lebanese Film, also the most critically acclaimed movie talks about a Young boy's struggle in the Modern day Lebanon. The Movie is based on a True incident where he sued his parents for "Child Neglect"
Although we assumed it to be a Children's movie but it really isn't. Having a Lead actor as a Child doesn't make it a Children's movie but going by the theme we thought this movie has something for adults more than a Child and we consider this to be an important film.
Capernaum is Streaming on Amazon Prime and please watch the film before listening to our Podcast.
In this episode, we had Ravi Kiran - an avid Reader, Moviebuff, and Creator of Playlists who also runs a FB Group - Wired to Music which hosts enthusiastic people who listen and talk about Music all day. Hope you enjoy our discussion as much as we did.

Iranian films are known to take a simple idea and get that out to be a beautiful movie. On that line, the White Baloon by Prolific Director Jafar Panahi (This is also his Debut film) takes a simple tale of a girl wanting to buy a fish where the Director explores the inherent nature of human kindness and the trivial (Or is it?) issue of a child wanting to buy a fish.
We had Senthil, who runs the Madras Film Screen Club along with his friends as a guest, where he talks about Iranian cinema in general, Abbas Kiarostami, and many things about this movie. Hop on to listen to our discussion and I believe you will enjoy this as much as we did talking about the film.
