First episode of the ONEOUTS series where i sit down with combat atheletes/coaches and talk all things fighting.
I was lucky enough to catch up with Macca Jean, William Namoa and Vin Mahoni New Zealand based martial artists who made the trip over for Eternal 67 Gold Coast where Macca is rematching Danielle Curtis(spoiler alert she WON CHHHEEEHOOOOO). This was recorded the night before the fight.
Macca shares how she got into martial arts and her preparation for the rematch. Willz and i cackle bout our history in MMA and Vinny gives us some amazing insight into coaching, running a gym(The Combat Centre) and his fighting lineage.

Its been a min but we are back. We recently celebrated being together 15yrs and reflected on what we have learnt.
We share about a recent blow up in the fam which resulted in a chat about the birds and the bees.
We really appreciate the support we have received since starting this podcast, our Cocotalk LIVE event and the conversations we have been able to share with people on and offline.
The break for us has offered us new perspective and that issss life is short so might as well talk kaka and have a laugh along the way.

In Jan 2016 we made our way on a one way flights to Kuala Lumpur where we would travel as a family for 9 months around south east Asia. This was our first time as a couple we had been on our own (always lived with family) and our older boys who were 4 and 6 at the time.
In this episode we dive into why we wanted to travel and how the idea came about. We wanted to give you some context before we dive deep into our travel adventure.
