  • Today I'm talking to Christina Mauricio about starting Gold Coast Dyes during the pandemic to have something to do for fun. Gold Coast Dyes has turned into a full blown business that Christina manages on nights and weekends because she also has a full time career! Did I mention she's also a mom? Tune in and enjoy this fun episode with Christina!

One lesson Christina has learned that put her on the path to success: On our first day of school this year, my boss gave us all fortune cookies as part of a team-building activity. My fortune read: "Endurance and persistence will be rewarded."

Gold Coast Dyes is a one-woman textile design studio specializing in loungewear and accessories that make a bold statement through a modern twist on a nostalgic art. Each piece is dyed by hand, and adds a cheerful pop of color to any wardrobe or kitchen in need of a cheeky pick-me-up.
Earth-friendly dyes and ethically-sourced materials magically come together day after day in serotonin-boosting designs that spark joy and are easy on the Earth. Every package comes marked "HAPPY MAIL" and though you can trust me when I say it makes you happy, I highly recommend testing it out for yourself!

  • In today's episode I have the privilege of talking with Kerry Brown, one of the founders of EAT G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Kerry and Heather (her biz partner) create foods that bring FREEDOM & JOY back to those on restorative diets. This is a true entrepreneurial story of two women's shared struggle turned into success!

The mission comes straight from their struggle. Fifteen years ago they were both diagnosed with life-changing autoimmune disorders. EAT G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. is an acronym for G.rain Free, A.lmond & Peanut Free, N.ightshade Free, G.luten Free, S.oy & Seed Free, T.asteful, E.gg & Dairy Free, R.eal Food!!

Their bodies were out of balance. Sometimes when this happens, the food we consume amplifies that imbalance.

But the body is smart – it’s simply telling us something – and when we learn to listen, we can begin to restore ourselves.

We all know it is difficult and isolating to remove certain foods from your diet. With their baking mixes, you can feel the freedom and taste the joy as you boldly stand for a happier, healthier, more whole you.

Enjoy the episode and thank you for listening!
