Peace Tribe! It's Your Girl, Divine Mother aka Bianca Pitman. Bringing a fresh, new pusspective to the table in today's episode of Coochie Conversations'. Remember, we're not just talking about the talk, we're walking the walk, one coochie conversation at a time.
Last week, we dove deep into the topic of preferring rituals over resolutions. I shared my personal approach to nurturing my inner self, likening it to keeping my cup full. And trust me, it's a ritual that's more refreshing than the finest green tea!
Today is extra special as we have two fabulous guests gracing our virtual studio. If you've been with us from the start, back in our IG live days, you'll instantly recognize our sister, Nahj. Just like me, she's recently welcomed a gorgeous baby girl into her life. Today, she will be giving us an inside look into her pregnancy journey, in a segment, I've cheekily named, 'Pregnant while Black'.
But hold on, the guest list doesn't end there. We have another first-timer on the pod, who's as special as they come: Deyonna Phillips. A doula and a supermom of two under 2, Deyonna is here to share her wisdom and experience. So, let's extend a warm, virtual 'Coochie Conversations' welcome to Deyonna!
For those who are familiar with us, you'll know how passionate we are about Black Maternal Health. Therefore, having Nahj and Deyonna on board, both of whom have experienced firsthand the challenges and joys of motherhood, is an absolute privilege.
Stay tuned, tribe members. We're about to embark on another enlightening and empowering conversation. Let's continue to support and uplift each other, one coochie conversation at a time!

Guess what, Tribe? We're back, bigger and bolder, with the second season of our much-loved podcast, Coochie Conversations! But first, pop that champagne, toss that confetti, and prepare yourself for a year of laughter, wisdom, and candid chats.
In our premiere episode, "Fresh Pusspective", our dynamic duo, Bianca and Joanne, don't just share their new year rituals. Instead, they invite you into their lives, with narrative filled with humor, relatable anecdotes, and a dash of data to show the significance of these rituals. Picture this: it's New Year's Eve. Bianca is lighting candles and writing down her resolutions while Joanne is preparing her favorite meal, a symbol of abundance for the year ahead.
Both agree on one thing: the importance of pouring from a full cup. It's not just about self-care or personal growth, but it's about being able to give more to the world around them. Bianca uses the metaphor of a cup brimming with tea, "You can't serve anyone if your own cup is empty. So, fill it up with love, care, and positivity. Only then can you pour out for others."
Join us, Tribe, as we journey into this new year with a 'Fresh Pusspective'. Let's fill our cups, share our stories, and create a year we'll never forget!

Peace Tribe! Happy Coochie Conversartions day!
We are back this week with a fresh coochie (no pun intended) conversations episode! This weeks conversation was one of my favorites thus far.
In this weeks episode, we were lucky enough to delve into the enigmatic life of psychic medium and cosmic priestess, Tahlia L'oreal. With a life story that reads a captivating novel, Tahlia graciously allowed us to peek behind the curtain, sharing her unique experiences growing up with psychic abilities.
From childhood whispers to spiritual gifts. As a child, Tahlia began to realize that her daydreams were unlike those of her peers. These weren't the typical flights of fancy; instead, she seemed to tap into energies and insights beyond the physical world. She shared with us the importance of nurturing such abilities in children, and the profound impact it can have on their spiritual development.Welcome to "Coochie Conversations," where the powerful energy of women healers gathers to delve into the profound realm of nurturing our children's gifts. Join us for an intimate and enlightening episode as we explore the multifaceted approaches these healers bring to fostering creativity, resilience, and self-discovery in our children.
For those who prefer hard facts over anecdotal evidence, Tahlia also shared some intriguing data about the prevalence of psychic abilities in children. It turns out, it's remarkably common for children to display signs of spiritual intuition. However, without proper nurturing, these abilities often fade as children grow older.
Overall, this episode was a fascinating journey into the world of psychic abilities, spiritual intuition, and the importance of nurturing these gifts from a young age. Tahlia L'oreal's story serves as a reminder that, in our quest for spiritual growth, sometimes the most powerful tools are already within us.
From ancient traditions to innovative practices, this episode aims to ignite conversations that empower caregivers to embrace their roles as cultivators of potential. Tune in for an inspiring conversation as these women healers converge on "Coochie Conversations," exploring the sacred art of "Nurturing Our Children's Spiritual Gifts."

In this weeks episode of Coochie Conversations, Bianca and Joanne have on a very special guest this week. Mental Health Therapist and Podcast host, Joi Britt.
Bianca and Joanne have a full circle moment when they revisit their journey on a segment we like to call "Who Heals the Healer?"
Who heals the healers? As we guide others on their healing journeys, how do we find our own? In this episode, we delve into these questions, shedding light on our personal healing processes.
It's not all sunshine and rainbows, though. On todays episode we explore the darker corners of our experience, discussing what grieving looks like for us.
So, sit back, relax, and prepare for a journey through healing, grief, and everything in between. Welcome to 'Coochie Conversations'.

Happy Black Maternal Mental Health Week! Black Maternal Mental Health is dedicated to promoting health equity for more Black moms and birthing people across their birth experience so they can reclaim their joy and reinstate their peace of mind.
As a Black womb man who is also in the final weeks of pregnancy we felt that it would be a disservice to not shine light on the mental and physical disparities us as black women go through when it comes to having children and the medical system.
Black Maternal Mental Health Week is a reminder that so many families experience pain, neglect and loss during what should be the most joyous times of their lives. Unfortunately most prenatal care is about creating a record for the liability purposes and not for the actual care of the pregnant woman. Black women are twice as likely as white women to experience maternal mental health conditions, but they're half as likely to receive treatment. Tap into this weeks episode of Coochie Conversations and get this tea while its hot.
In this episode you can expect to hear:
💫 Shared stories from our guests on their pregnancy experiences both prenatal and postpartum
💫 Statistics on Black Maternal Health
💫 The importance of advocating for yourself and having a birth plan during pregnancy
Disclaimer: This episode was created to shine light on the disparities that black women go through when it comes to Black Maternal Health. This episode is here to shine light on what’s going on when it comes to us and the medical system. This episode is not made to induce or create fear but to give reason on why we as black women have to advocate for ourselves when it comes to how we are treated within the medical system.
