Dr. Monique Casey-Bolden is a native of Tennessee who grew up in Memphis. She attended undergraduate college at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Dr. Casey-Bolden graduated medical school from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN (1999). She completed her
residency in family medicine at the University of Tennessee Memphis where she was the Chief Resident. Upon completion of residency, she was offered a job in Dyersburg, TN with Family Care practicing rural
medicine.
Dr. Maurice G. Sholas:
Dr. Maurice Sholas is the Principal for Sholas Medical Consulting, LLC. In this
capacity, he solves operational challenges for individual practitioners, hospitals and
health care agencies. In additional he is a subject matter expert on children with special
health care needs. He previously served as a Senior Medical Director for multiple
Children’s Hospitals and has founded multiple programs in Pediatric Rehabilitation
Medicine. Dr. Sholas’ work, whether clinical or administrative, is focused on optimizing
function and advocating for the marginalized.

Deatra Martin Bio:
Deatra Martin is a Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology. Her clinical journey includes over seven years as an addiction inpatient primary therapist, outpatient therapist and Family Program Director, treating clients and families, which is a key element in recovery.
Her experience also includes a cognitive-behavioral and existential approach towards anxiety, depression, trauma and families dealing with chronic illness.
Deatra is trained to handle a multitude of mental health issues. Marriage and Family therapy is a specialty that focuses on how family dynamics impact psychological health.
Deatra believes in the principles of self-actualization and protecting one's peace by any means necessary. Your personal therapeutic journey will have many different phases and goals; progress NOT perfection.

Ciji Townsend is the Founder of Balanced Not Busy a space for go-getters to find rest. She inspires,
encourages and empowers as a public speaker, wellness advocate and host of the being BALANCED
podcast.
Ciji has been intrigued by the word “busy” since she was six years old. Surrounded by working parents and
grandparents, everyone seemed to be really really busy…ALL of the time. Ciji was initiated into her family’s
secret society of busy people when she turned 13. Her over programmed social calendar, full schedule and
ridiculous amount of commitments from school sports to the youth and government club was some official
rites of passage.
Outside of her 9-5, she works 5-9 and sometimes even later to serve in the Atlanta community. She is
President Emeritus of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals, she is a member of the LEAD Atlanta 2013 class, a New Leaders Council Louisiana 2015 Fellow and a participate in the Leadership Buckhead class of 2017. She is a graduate of the Leadership Georgia Class of 2018 and was inducted into
Outstanding Atlanta in the Fall of 2019. She’s a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and served this
year as the Director of Sustainer Engagement.
