Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. Special thanks to all the brave men and women who work in the criminal justice field. Here at the CJEvolution Podcast we appreciate what you do and keep up the great work.
In this episode, Patrick welcomes Victor Avila. Victor is a survivor. Soft-spoken but iron-willed, he dedicated his life to law enforcement and to his country. Yet, the feds have been fighting very hard to bury the full truth about the 2011 ambush by Los Zetas Drug Cartel thughs in Mexico that left him gravely wounded and his partner, special agent, Jaime Zapata, dead. After Victor started to heal from this incident, he also started to dig into the operation that he and his partner should have never been told to do in the first place. The more information that Victor started to uncover the more some beltway bureaucrats started to obstruct the Avlia's and Zapata's search for answers. What the Obama administration hid as evidence mounted that that the semi-automatic weapons and handguns used in the ambush came from one of its botched gun-walking operations that echoed the infamous and deadly Operation Fast and Furious Scheme.
A very powerful story about heroism, survival instincts from two dedicated law enforcement professionals, and deception from the highest levels of the US Government. This episode will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Steve Jobs once said " Your time is limited, don't waste it living someone else's life." Unfortunately, most of us do. We are afraid to act and go for our dreams. We are terrified of what people might think or say about us. The only thing we have in life is time, and we can control what we spend our time on. If you have that dream of writing your book, or starting your business - DO IT! Take that first step. Every great journey requires that.
In this episode, Patrick talks about 10 reasons why you should go after your dreams. This is a great article from the Huffington Post.

In this episode, Patrick welcomes Remi Adeleke. With no father in the picture, Remi Adeleke tried to find a father in the things around him: Music, culture and peers. He tried it all, and got into a lot of trouble along the way. Then he found his way out by joining the military. But even becoming a Navy SEAL wasn't enough.
