Ho ho ho. We continue our "Tops and Bottoms December" by discussing another stinker of a film, 2007's Fred Claus. A slapstick comedy about Santa Claus' un-extraordinary and bitter older brother, this movie has some major hiccups. Amanda wasn't a huge fan, but Zach does make some compelling points. Anyways, check it out!

Ho ho ho. We continue our "Tops and Bottoms December" by focusing on a....well...a "film" that makes some interesting choices. Disclaimer: this one was rough. Amanda and Zach sat and reviewed the LOWEST rated Christmas movie (according to Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB) Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas. Even though the movie was rough, we both had a ton to say.

Happy Halloween to all our number 1 fans out there! What a better way to celebrate the holiday than to get special guest David Dassau to help us discuss Misery from 1990. A masterclass in fiction from Stephen King is wonderfully transitioned to screen in this chilling adaptation.

More brains!!!! Zach and Amanda continue with Spooky Season by discussing 1985's The Return of the Living Dead. Not to be affiliated with any George A. Romero films, this balls-to-the-wall zombie film is full of punk, style, and gore. A beloved cult classic that may be too difficult to show to newbies of the genre. Tune in now!

When Hedy moves in with Allie, things seem as normal as can be. But looks may be deceiving. How does this erotic thriller stack up to the myriad of well executed others in the 90's? And what is the re-watchability factor?

We blow the top off of this episode as Amanda and Zach discuss the 1997 geological action film Dante's Peak. In a quaint mountain town, a beautiful threat looms over the people as mother nature unleashes her natural circles of life. Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton star in this 90's mid-budget thriller. But....were they the correct choices for the leads? Or could this movie have benefited from someone better?

Strap on that life jacket because Amanda and Zach are discussing The River Wild from 1994. A tour-de-force of performances from actors and mother nature, this movie just plain and simply rocks. There is something to be said about a low stakes watch of a movie, and while this one does it, there is a lot that you can discuss.

Pride Month continues as Amanda, Zach, and special guest Joe Lipsett from the Horror Queers talk about the blood, daggers, costumes, smashing the patriarchy, and brides in their discussion of The Blood Spattered Bride (1972). This beautiful yet macabre queer horror film fits a niche genre that should most likely be expanded upon. But does the film work or does it miss its mark? And how much "bright red" blood is enough?
