That also leads us down a discussion on the struggles and costs associated with getting good players and athletes on tour. We answer a few questions from listeners in a poorly executed new segment. After an off week for the boys, we are back to discuss a lot of topics in the world of golf from tours all around the globe. We start discussing Rory and his close calls recently on the DP World Tour. We then get into a few LIV topics as they played back-to-back weeks to determine their titles. A "Masshole Minute" makes a return thanks to comments by Jon Rahm. There is a short chat about the Solheim Cup and US Mid-Am after we had boots on the ground for both events. We then finish by previewing and making our picks for this week's Presidents Cup.

We discuss a lot of different "Cups" on today's show. We start off with Keegan Bradley's win at the BMW in Denver. We get into the cut line of the top 30 in the FedEx Cup playoffs as well. There is a session complaining about the rules of golf after Matt Fitzpatrick is denied a new driver head after his cracks. We then get into the President's Cup teams, standings and potential captain's picks, which lead into a Ryder Cup discussion surrounding Keegan's captaincy. We touch on Lydia Ko's in at St. Andrews real fast before we make our picks for the Tour Championship this week.

Had a couple of guests to start off the show this week. Jordan Utley and John Rosenstock have both recently qualfied for the US Mid-Am in their hometown, so we get a chance to talk about the experience so far and how did they get it done! Make sure to root them on! Jay and Mike then do a stripped down version of their normal routine afterwards to talk Hideki, Presidents Cup, LIV and some other note worthy golf items. They finish the show with their picks for the BMW Championship this week in Colorado.

We get into the regular season finale at the Wyndham Championship and an eventful final round. Aaron Rai gets his first win on the PGA Tour and sneaky has some amazing strokes gained data. Max Greyserman comes close but has a tough stretch on the back nine that hopefully he can take some positives from. We then get into the curious and bizare case of Matt Kuchar electing to not finish his round on Sunday and his the only player to come back. After Lydia Ko gets into the LPGA Hall of Fame on points, we discuss the merits of this system versus a committee vote. We glace at the FedEx Cup bubble watch after a brief look at this week's US Amateur that is goin on. The show finishes with our picks for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

It was an adventourous episode for the boys. There were a wide variety of topics discussed this week and not always golf. We do get in-depth on the Olympic competition of course with Scottie's impressive comeback. We talk about what happened to Rahm as well. Some of the other competitors are discussed along with getting into a discussion on Jack and Arnie. We do some forecasting on Rory McIlroy's future. There is even some basketball talk and gymnastics talk as well. Who ever would have thought Larry Bird and Simone Biles get brought up on the same golf podcast? The show finishes with our picks for this week's regular season finale at the Wyndham Championship.

It's Olympic week! We start off getting into a few topics based on some of our own local golf happenings and personal experiences. We then get into the 3M Open and how a tour player can be so close even though the results may not say so. It change quickly for these guys as things are so tight on tour and a few shots here or there mean a lot! We talk about some of the slowest guys on tour as well. There is a little LIV discussion coming off of Jon Rahm's victory. We then talk about the Olympic format before making our picks for this week's event.

There were two big golf opens this past weekend. We start off with a breakdown of the State Open of Virginia after our own Jay Woodson went on a Sunday charge to make things very interesting. Great playing Jay! We then get into The Open Championship and Xander winning another major in quick fashion. We discuss some amazing stats to show off his consistency and lack of a weakness in his game. His major record is impressive but how will he major career stack up against some of his peers. We finish off the show with our picks for this week's 3M Open.

We touch on a few of the other contenders. The recent success of college players and amateurs has been impressive. Why have the tides shifted in "prime" age on tour now? Keegan Bradley was named Ryder Cup Captain last week and we chat about our thoughts on the outside of the box pick. We then get into our preview and picks for The Open Championship.

The US Mid-Am is coming to Kinloch Golf Club in September and Mike was invited to join their Media Day held a couple of months ago. Mike was able to get some short sit down interviews with Vinny Giles, Stew Hagestad, Evan Beck, Bill McCarthy and Mike Crowley. With some summer vacations on tap for the guys, we thought this would be a nice change of pace from our typical shows. Hope you enjoy!

Big shot Bob gets it done in Canada. We start the show discussing his win at the RBC Canadian Open along with Yuka Saso's victory at the US Women's Open. Then we get into the main topic stemming from Jay's appearance in US Open Final qualifying and the "Longest Day in Golf." Jay gives us a breakdown of the day and playing with Marc Leishman. This gets us into a little LIV discussion based on some things Marc said to Jay. Of course, a rollback debate breaks out again after the stories Jay tells about his other playing opponent. We cap the show with our picks for this week's Memorial Tournament at Jack's place.

We start with the sad news regarding Grayson Murray and his passing. We then get into the Charles Schwab Challenge and Davis Riley's first individual title on the PGA Tour. There is a little golf course architecture discussion, mixed in with chats regarding Scottie, Collin Morikawa and Rory's driving. Some of the legal matters and videos surrounding Scottie were also broken down. Will the charges be dropped soon?? Another big announcement was made in the world of golf with Lexi Thompson retiring from the LPGA at the end of the season. We also try to educate the listeners on tournament preparations and how to get ready for an event. The show finishes with our weekly DraftKings picks for this week's RBC Canadian Open.
