First we want to say we are sorry for being gone for so long but we are back and bringing you an episode that we were not able to release but was recorded back in April. This guest Maggie (they/them) is much a wonderful person and we were so happy to have them on the show. there endometriosis symptoms started when they where very young which inspired them to write. we talk how drs don't always take us seriously. so trigger warning for medical trauma. Maggie shares tips and tricks when it comes to nausea and endo in general. they tell more in depth why they started writting and speaking out using different platforms. they speak compassion to all you listeners with endo. and we have to insert another trigger warning as suicide is mentioned. with all that being said please enjoy Part 1 of 2 chat with Maggie. This week is Part 2 of how to be your own advocate but this time we are talking about, how to approach your Dr at your next appointment. we talk red flags and green flags when it comes to your DR. Heather and I have also added a unplugged talk after the scripted show. So sit back relax grab your notebook and lets dive in. In the episode we talk about a step by step process on how to talk to your GP, this was originally written out by DR Martin Hirsch @endometriosis.surgeon.uk so thank you so much for posting that very easy and straight forward way of talking to your GP. This week to start March off which happens to be endometriosis awareness month. we wanted to help those out there that might feel stuck on how to spread awareness and how to self advocate. Have your notebooks ready for this one as we go through alot of Information.
