Denmark player Eriksen collapsed during their first Euro cup match and had to be taken to the hospital immediately as the doctors claimed that the Danish player had a cardiac arrest. In this difficult time our thoughts and prayers are with him
England were playing against the heavy weights Croatia and won due to Raheem Sterling's goal. Despite that the squad had to face some mild criticism as England failed to produce attractive football. The only key takeaway from the match was the brilliance of Kelvin Phillips.
The England fans post the match really asking questions that is it really coming home?

After waiting for almost a year, Euro 2020 has officially began, For the first match we had Italy facing against Turkey. Promising Turkey although had a good first half defensively, in the second half they failed to keep up the momentum and former Manchester city manager Mancini's team showed their dominance and won 3-0. Italy after a really long time showed some promising approach with the ball and kept the majority of the ball.
Weak Turkey failed to put up even one shot on target, Italy on the other side played with slick ball movement, with their third man moving and running behind the line strategy they managed to create multiple chances. Overall they had a great start and truly looks pretty promising but it is just the beginning; A lot to come !

The last game week yet again provided some beautiful matches for us, we started with victorious Chelsea, Kai scored his first premier league goal in 2021, followed up we had Manchester city vs Leeds united as yet again the veteran manager Marcelo Bielsa won with Dalla's injury time goal, Manchester city despite being the better side couldn't do much which raises questions before their Champions league second leg against BVB,
Manchester United was facing Tottenham hotspur away. After a crucial goal denied by the VAR Manchester conceded one goal and It was Son who did the damage. Tottenham tried their best to stop Manchester but scintillating soccer prevailed everything as Fred equalized. Defensive and desperate Jose Mourniho tried getting at least one point from the match but Edison Cavani and Greenwood had other plans as their goals confirmed a sweet victory for Manchester.

After the international break, clubs came in to play their regular league football. Manchester City proved dominance against Leicester, Chelsea's shocking defeat against Westbrom, Manchester United's cheeky come back and Liverpool's win against Arsenal entertained us all.
In this episode I described how good city played against Leicester, and how the match went. Problem with Werner and Kai still remains for Chelsea, Despite a nice derby win; Arsenal failed to provide anything against the red side of the Merseyside. Tottenham as usual bottled up and drew against weak side of Newcastle.

Well, after 25 game weeks Manchester City is looking a side which might win the trophy ! Leicester City and Manchester United are at level points playing the same number of matches. Westham Surprisingly are in 4th position and showing great promise for European football. Chelsea is showing some positivity under new manager but story for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are the same.

In previous game week, Manchester United took the first position of the Premier League and Manchester City was 4 points behind them in the 4th position having 2 matches in hand.
Manchester United, this week was facing the defending champions Liverpool fc and City was facing Crystal palace.
With 5 main players out for injury Liverpool had a really good game against the red devils but Salah Mane Firminho failed to score a goal. United despite having a poor start came back to the game and created better opportunities than the hosts. Pogba came closest but Allison denied. The game ended at 0-0 with no difference in point table so far and Manchester United in in league top with 37 points.
Cityzens on Sunday had to face Eagles but Pep Guardiola managed to get 3 points for city before turning 50 the next day. Manchester City now has 35 points with one game in hand which means, if they win against Aston Villa they can go to league top.
Will Manchester side manage to win this league? can Manchester United win the trophy for the first time post Ferguson? Can City get back their reputation and become a threat as they used to be? only time will tell but certainly;

With Liverpool dropping points against Southampton, it gives the two Manchester side a golden opportunity to overcome the reds and be in the top two positions. Ole managed to win against Aston Villa with a Bruno Fernandez penalty and are in equal points with Liverpool; playing one match less. The blue side of the Manchester on the other hand humiliated the expensive Chelsea team as Kevin De Bryune provided one goal and one assist, Phil Foden and Ikay Gundogan are the other scorers. Leicester city and Tottenham Hotspur both won their matches too. Arenal dominated against WBA and took one comfortable 3 points home. What is next for Liverpool? what is next for Lampard? hard to tell but the current premier league race just became more exciting now and in upcoming game weeks it will make it even more tricky and riveting.

The boxing day game week always brings excitement and joy to the premier league fans and this year despite all those turmoil will not be any exception. We have couple of very riveting fixtures to start with. We have Manchester United vs Leicester City which I believe is very crucial. If Manchester United manages to get 3 points from the match they will be closer to Liverpool who are in the top position. Arsenal after a Carabao cup defeat from the 3 years back to back champions Manchester City are facing Chelsea which will be enough to take away Arteta's sleep at night.
Liverpool seems to have a comfortable fixture this week against West brom, where Manchester city is facing Newcastle in the hope that they will close the gap. Tottenham despite having couple of setbacks in the premier league are facing Wolves this Sunday.
In this episode I talked about the fixtures and how it is most likely to go although the season is crazy enough to make me wrong.

The north London derby shows how badly Arteta needs to revamp the squad. The Arsenal mid field have been completely inept to showcase any creativity prowess which made Tottenham's job pretty easy cause all they had to do is to stop the attack from the overloaded wings. Aubameyang failed to do anything in this match as well which might be more than a threat for Arteta as he was his only option for him. Willian raising questions on his performance too. Can Arteta come up with a new plan for the team? or is he going to pave the way for Sarri who is most likely to replace Arteta at the Emirates stadium.
Basic understanding of the Arsenal game play; 3-4-3 formation with 2 Defensive midfielders (Xhaka and Partey), overloading the wings with Tierny and Belerin. Saka goes extreme left playing more as a LWF which makes Aubameyang move near penalty box and create chances. Lacazette's position doesn't really matter as he is not a threat to the opponent defense anyway. With this strategy, Attack from the middle becomes an utopia which makes the opponent's job pretty easy. For example, in the north London derby, Bergwijn, Aurier, and Sissoko moved left to stop Tierny and Saka, with a 2 vs 3 position , it was impossible for Arsenal to create anything from there.
And hence, Arsenal needs a new strategy
